| Martin's Air Charter "1964" Douglas C-54B |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
On 12 June 1962 the four years young Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter (MAC), proud owner of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove and two Douglas C-47 ("DC-3") aircraft, welcomed at its Amsterdam homebase the flagship of the fleet: the Douglas C-54B ("DC-4") PH-MAE. Until that moment the largest aircraft of MAC, whose main activities were on the IT-charters and ad-hoc cargo transport, were C-47 PH-MAA which was limited to the transport of max. 32 passengers and C-47 PH-MAB which had a large freight door and could transport a maximum of 3 tons payload. C-54B PH-MAE was a huge improvement since it could transport 70 passengers or 7 tons payload. The other great advantage being it range (medium distance). It soon became a very popular aircraft. With the arrival of the larger Douglas DC-6A combiplane PH-MAM in 1966, the days of PH-MAE with MAC were numbered. The C-54B was sold to the German operator Allgemeine Lufttransport All-Air. Around the same time Martin's Air Charter had changed its name into Martinair Holland and as such entered the turboprop and jet age. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

| Piaggio P-166 All Versions New Flight Dynamics + HTML Handbook Reference |
|
File Description:
Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!!
This is a massive update for the Piaggio P-166 Series aircraft. This Package contains a whole update for ALL the models,(P-166A\M\S\BL2\CL2\DL3\DL3-SEM\DP1) and a pilot handbook in html format. You can read it in the full large version or in the reduced size version re-adapted for the electronic FS2004 kneeeboard as "Reference". All aircraft refer to the same file, so after the introdution to the P-166 and her main characteristics, individual links to the single P-166 versions are included (only "Kneeboard" version). The main improvements in the FDEs are a nice stability making the plane just fly strigght-and-leveled easily, re-calibrated flap and fuselage drags, wich makes for better max speed and landing characteristics. Also flaps and landing gear pitch moments are lots reduced. Now the plane respects the Specs of the real thing completly, even matching the changes from version to version!! in newer versions, engine power output has been recalculated, as well as new payloads and fuel capacities: you can litterally load the passangers and baggage you wish...but don't try to exaggerate, going overweight is not that complex...for instance, try placing a 9999 pounds copilot and guess what happens...
Happy Flights!!

| Dolbeau-St-Felicien CYDO in Quebec Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is the fourth of five sceneries around Lac Saint-Jean in Quebec, Canada. Saint-Felicien is a village on a small river at the western end of Lac Saint-Jean, and the airfield is just under 10 miles to the northeast. At the same distance further to the northeast of the airfield and on a slightly larger river is the village called Dolbeau. The village of Sainte-Methode is closer than either of the other villages but presumably lacked influence. The airfield effectively has one runway aligned 11-29 and just under 5,000 feet long, with approach lights on 11. There is, or was, a second runway aligned north-south but this has badly deteriorated without maintenance and has loose stones that threaten propellor damage. The taxiway that runs east-west is in a similar condition and all planes operate as if there is no taxiway. There is a clubhouse and a maintenance facility along with a line of old hangars that remain in full use, plus planes parked in the open. The landclass has been modified along with the grassed area of the airfield, and in the AI (included with the post of CYRC) there are scheduled flights by Max Aviation, and GA flights etc. It is a really typical airfield in northern(ish) rural Canada with a lot more activity than one might expect.

| FSX/P3D Ethiopian Airlines 707-379C 1968 |
|

File Description:
This is a repaint of the 707-379C in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware 707-300C by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines was established in 1946 by the Emperor Haile Sellassie, and TWA which provided technical and managerial support. Regular operations commenced on April 8 1946 with a fleet of 6 ex USAAF DC-3s. Later in 1950, 2 Convair CV-240s entered the fleet. Then in 1958, the first DC-6B arrived on the scene. On January 1 1959 Ethiopian officially became a member of IATA. The first jet services started in 1963 after the delivery of the carrier's first Boeing 720s. The 720s replaced the DC-6Bs on the European routes. In 1964, Ethiopian started a new pilot training school, installed a large IBM computer system, and also established the largest jet overhaul facility in Africa. 707s, 727s, and 737s, joined the fleet in the ensuing years. Today Ethiopian ranks as Africa's supreme air carrier with a safe and reliable service, notwithstanding the 737 Max 8 tragedy, and has a vast route network. The cherry on top was when in 2014, Ethiopian dethroned South African Airways as the "Best African Airline". Textures are 32 bit dds and DXT5 textures are included as well. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3Dv1-3.

| B58 Hustler for X-Plane 6.4/6.51 |
|
File Description:
B58 Hustler v1.0 for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 - development of the B58 began in 1951 with 161 planes delivered to SAC between 1960 and 1970. Americas first supersonic jet bomber (mach 2+) the B58 was designed for high speed delivery of nuclear or conventional weapons from long range as a compliment to the B52 subsonic bomber. One of the most sophisticated planes ever developed, the B58 set many speed and altitude records some of which remain unbroken today. With a gross takeoff weight of 163000 lbs the B58 could cary as much as 101000 lbs of fuel (that's almost 60% of the gross weight). One of the most computerized aircraft ever built, the B58 is amazingly easy to fly without any computer assistance (except the one used to run the x-plane simulator). Go to the attached web sit for the fascinating story of the B58 Hustler.

| Flight plan management table |
|
File Description:
THe Flight management table is an excel file which will help you to monitor weights and time of your flight plan.
You can insert the following info:
-Departure
-Arrival
-Callsign
-Flight number
-Route distance
-Number of pax
-Cost index
-Cruise altitude
-Block fuel, taxi fuel, trip fuel, extra fuel, reserve fuel
You can also manage time by inserting simulation date, start time, cockpit preparation time and many more.
The file also gives you an advice if you make a mistake and will calculate the fuel you have to burn if you have to perform an emergency landing but you are above the max landing weight.
The excel file will then calculate zero fuel weight, gross weight, takeoff and landing weights based on the "active aircraft management table".
It will also calculate off and on block time as well as takeoff and landing time.
You can use this file with any aircraft by adding tamplates to it or using one that is already in the file. At present the tamplates available are:
X plane
-Flight Factor A320 Ultimate
-Zibo mod B738
-IXEG B733
-Aerobask Eclipse 550NG
Prepar3d/Flight sim X
-PMDG B738 NGX
-Majestic Dash 8 Q400
Creating a new tamplate is easy. All you need to do is having weights info about the aircraft you wish to add in hand.
The file is under development which means that I am going to add new feature to it.
A good breefing is the first step for a good flight.

| Greenwood Lake Airport (4N1), NJ |
|
File Description:
Located 01 miles E of West Milford, New Jersey on 150 acres of land, Greenwood Lake Airport is a public asphalt strip that services small to medium GA air traffic. The second runway that used to be there has been re-paved and now serves as extra aircraft parking. You can park anywhere on the closed runway, along the edge of the main tarmac where the terminal building is, or between any two white cones (50 foot max wingspan) that mark tie-down locations in the middle of the main tarmac. A helicopter start is provided as well. For parking, Small GA spaces are for craft with wingspans of less than 50 feet; Medium GA spaces are for craft with wingspans from 50-60 feet. The glide slope for Runway 24 has been adjusted up from 3.5 degrees to 4 degrees as in real life the runway sits higher than the ground the trees grow from so this will give you proper clearance on approach. Fuel is available by stopping near the tank on the main tarmac. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| Peters Airport (4NJ8), NJ v1.1 |
|
File Description:
Located 05 miles W of Somerville, New Jersey on 70 acres of land, Peters Airport is a private turf strip that will test your short field skills to the max. The published runway dimensions for this strip are 1700x200 feet, and for the most case this is fairly accurate - however at the ends of both runways you have tree obstacles to overcome so this can shorten the amount of usable runway significantly, although the tree obstacles are no higher than 12-14m. There is no hardened runway surface so you will be landing/taking off on terrain. Depending on how high your mesh resolution is, this can be a significant factor, as Runway 31 is mainly uphill enough that you will need to power up with parking brakes on if you want to make it in the air. Runway 13 is the best since you are going downhill and the trees at the end are fewer and smaller. Pay close attention to the pattern! Runway 13 is Left and Runway 31 is Right - this airport is within 2 miles of Solberg-Hunterdon (N51) and you don't want to get in the way of that field's traffic! The runway is not lit, so daytime VFR operations only. There are no services at this strip for transient aircraft.

File Description:
Created as a means to display the potential of a ducted fan rotorcraft powered by multiple electric motors. The system made its launch in 2015, since then advances and improvements have been completed to the airframe and power plant configurations. Delivering an efficient means of lift using smaller and therefore quieter propeller then traditional helicopters. The function of the ducted system serves as a mean of channeling pressure and vectoring thrust. Giving the UV-4 a unique control system and improved maneuverability. The design of a low speed "T-Tail" houses the function of yaw control with multiple rudders located on its vertical stabilizer, and elevators on its horizontal stabilizer. In addition the rear ducted systems may pivot up to less then sixty degrees forward and backwards to deliver the vector thrust where the aircraft needs it to be. The cargo bay may house up to four thousand pounds of deliverable payload. As its max gross take-off weight is designed to reach twelve thousand five hundred pounds. The electrical systems on the aircraft use a network of batteries, generators, and its two electrical motors. Proving five hundred horse power each, totaling an amount of one thousand horse power. An electrical charge then powers the mechanization used to spin the propeller to its desired rate per minute. Perhaps in the near future an additional system can be created to then generate electrical charges created by the spinning propeller of inside the duct back into the aircraft to then power systems or recharge the battery. We forward to providing this aircraft on Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Lockheed-Martin Prepar3d, and X-Plane 10 for download by the end of 2016. Aircraft by Rob Gomez & Kris Pyatt

| Iris F-16D Viper Aerodynamic Performance Modification and Repaint Texture Package |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This performance modification and repaint texture package is for the IRIS "Pro Series" F-16D Viper. The performance modifications will upgrade ALL FOURTEEN (14) of your Iris F-16D/CFT models and make them fly like real F-16's! Think of this as an AWESOME tune-up job for your IRIS F-16D's...you'll be amazed at how GREAT your jets fly after this! Go from the runway to 40,000 feet in 90 seconds at Mach 1+, then reach a max Mach of 2.05. Go from 200-600 kts in under 30 sec. Pull 9g (sustained) turns in the CAT-1 jets and 7g turns in the CAT-3 jets. Perform precise aerobatic maneuvers and enjoy smooth "fly by wire"-like control! I also increased the internal fuel capacity to now hold 1,044 gallons (7,000lbs) like the real jet, and adjusted the weight and balance figures for the fuel and weapon loads. But I didn't stop there...I ALSO made a bunch of "visual" upgrades for the Iris F-16D/CFT jets as well! I repainted some of the "COMMON" texture files so now the buttons on the ICP pad look more used/worn, the Annunciator/Warning lights are now easier to read (ie, "MASTER CAUTION"), upgraded the ACESII ejection seat, reduced the amount of "pilot reflection" on the interior canopy glass in the "Virtual Cockpit" for a MUCH clearer view, painted pilot textures for either Desert Tan or OD Green flight suits (you choose!), PLUS repainted/upgraded the "LIVE" weapon textures and ALSO painted textures for "INERT" blue weapons (you choose!). The installation for both the "Aerodynamic Performance Modification" and the cockpit, pilot & weapon texture upgrades are quick and easy, and you'll find the installation instructions in those folders.
