Tips, Tricks and more for FS2004 Dutch Translation Part 2. Dutch Translation of the tips and tricks document from David "Opa" Marshall. A collection of tips and tricks for FS2004 that work well on my modest setup. These may or may not work for you but you may wish to give them a try. This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a newbie or a long time simmer.

AI Helicopters for Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. This package is designed to compliment the exceptionaly fine enhancement of the airport (CYYF) by John Stinstrom. Featured are three repaints by John Burford of the Sikorsky S-76 AI Helicopter in Canadian Helicopter's colors. The AI Helicopter model by Chris "Elvis" Jones is not included but download details for it and other suggested enhancements are included in the documentation. The project uses the "invisible" airport and "forward departure" (no push-backs) techniques. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. ---
NOTE: This single package replaces three related files destroyed in the May hack upon Avsim.

Ready-made Flights designed to be used with a properly installed setup of the new Bear Creek Winery & Lodging Ver.2.09 - bcwverii.zip - by Mike Woolsey and David Marshall. This package includes a Flight for each of the Six Seasonal Scenery choices available in the unique Bear Creek Scenery Changer plus a flight setup for the 4th of July Fireworks. All flights use the default Cessna 172 Skyhawk and default weather settings. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. A Magnetic Compass gauge with selectable DIGITAL display. When you click on the aircraft outline on the compass, it will change to a Digital display of the heading.
Instructions are included for installing this gauge as a replacement for the default Compass in FS2004 or as an additional pop-up window on panels which do not presently have a magnetic compass. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the illustrated instructions which are provided in .Doc and .Pdf formats. Tested in FS2004 only. Gauge programming by Jim Robinson - packaged by David "Opa" Marshall for your flying enjoyment.

| IONE, Washington - S23 - Airport and adjacent scenery |

File Description:
Ione is a small airport close to the Washington-Canadian border, about 60 nm North of KSFF (Felts). The ICAO code S23. It now has NDB and VOR; frequencies for these are NDB- 379, VOR-113.20. This airport is an enhanced version of the default S23. It handles small AC only. This is for FS9.
This project started out as an enhancement for my ski-patrol bro who lives in Ione and grew into a major project. This project has four, basic major parts -
1. the airport itself.
2. back road area with a few farm houses, gas station and church.
3. small town - courtesy of Opa Marshall who spent much time with me on suggestions and guidance.
4. Camp ground area.
We hope you will enjoy this work. Readme file has contact info and airport ID of some close by airports. Bob

Dallas Helijet Shuttle Repaints. A nice set of four repaints by John Burford of the Sikorsky S-76 AI Helicopter to be used in conjunction with the dallashj.zip package. The repaints feature the Lone Star State flag (a single star), individual tail numbers, an updated aircraft.cfg and updated flightplans. The base package (dallashj.zip) must be installed first. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the very simple installation instructions.

Bear Creek Winery & Lodging Enhanced v2.0.9 "Diamond Edition".
An all new Flight Simulator experience awaits you at Bear Creek. This is a completely re-vamped "Extreme Make Over" of the previous Bear Creek Winery & Lodging. Some additions include: Scenery Changer Utility, Custom Textures, Festive Events (Christmas, Balloon Festival Etc.) Also added enhanced AI Traffic to the whole of Bear Creek. If you are a previous user of the original Bear Creek scenery this one that awaits you will indeed replace the original!!
No need to keep the previous version 1.0 that you may have downloaded this 2.0 version is a whole new interface that utilizes different install criteria.
Some of the Extra additions that are used with the new 2.0 version are: Runway12 3 Part Library, the Abacus Scenery Creator default libraries, Lago FSE, AI Schweizer 300C Helicopter, Gerrish Grey Tree Library Version 3. The direct links to these downloads are provided to you to download to display the scenery in its entirety. Not all of the above mentioned are required, like Lago, as it is a payware addition. All others mentioned are freely distributed at various download sites.
Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location and follow the installation instructions very carefully. Do not attempt to install this scenery with a "scenery manager" - for proper installation please use the built in installation routine.

Adding NAV and ADF Radio Tuners - an Illustrated Tutorial. This very brief Tutorial will show you how to add these navigational devices to virtually any aircraft - as a popup window. This is something you may wish to apply to Vintage craft as they seldom are so equipped. The default Piper Cub, which comes with a "handheld" radio, is used in the tutorial to demonstrate the concept. Only stock FS2004 gauges and radios are used so nothing else is required. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location. The project was compiled in .doc format by David "Opa" Marshall and is based upon ideas and material provided by Mark Smith. Enjoy!
