Creating Fuel Triggers in FS2004 - an Illustrated Tutorial. Having enough fuel is critical to the succesful completion of any flight. This tutorial will show you how to create invisible Fuel Trigger areas which can be used at any airport. When you place your aircraft in one of the trigger areas (a gate or fueling station) your tanks will be automatically filled. All required files are included and no programming knowledge is needed. If I can do do it, anyone can! Please unzip to a temporary folder of your choice and follow the simple instructions. The excellent Stearman/Eagle Field package (stear04.zip from Flightsim.com) has an error in the Traffic file which prevents one of the two Bi-Wing Stearman Kaydet aircraft from displaying. Abbreviated Brake and Overspeed Messages. If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains revised language.dlls which will abbreviate these messages and/or remove the Overspeed message entirely. These files are an expansion of the modifications originally done in 2005 by Brent Hricziscse - braketext.zip. That file is not required. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions.

Santa's Sleigh & 8 Reindeer - AI Version.
It is rumored that Rudolph is ill and may not be able to lead the Reindeer this Christmas so Santa is making some test flights with just the original eight reindeer. He has chosen a remote airfield near Steamboat Springs, Colorado (81CO) named Mesa 1. Of course you can place this AI version at the location of your choice. I have taken the original flyable model by Dundee Prototypical Simulations (available here as santa.zip) and tweaked it for use as an AI craft, using parameters usually associated with Helicopters to let Santa practice shorter takeoffs and landings.
ALL necessary files are included. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. As a bonus, there is also a set of instructions showing how to set this up as a continuously running display on your screen - a nice option for the Holidays. AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here. Opa's Campground. A ficticious campground located on the shores of beatiful Lake Texoma on the Texas-Oklahoma border. Created with the EZ and RWY12 Object placing programs, the scenery is packed with eye candy and some unusual features including AI Helicopter rides, an AI Windsurfer and AI boats moving about the lake plus fireworks on the 4th of July. There is a landing strip at the campground for those who arrive by air and start locations for seaplanes and automobiles. Lago sound files are included for those who have the Lago FSE program (optional). The scenery is designed to be used with the default FS2004 setup - it is not compatible with Ultimate Terrain - USA. If you are seeking a great place to "get away" for some fun, this is it. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation directions.
