This DC-3 Dakota (c/n 16583, RAF XF648) was purchased from RAF Kilbride by BKS Air Transport Ltd. in May 1952 and served the company as G-AMSH 'John Alcock' until December 1966. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. This package includes a new configuration file that allows it to be operated as a regular aircraft. Sound files by Aaron R. Swindle (Skysong Soundworks). Flight dynamics and 8 bit textures by Dan Wambolt. Suitable for both FS9 and FS2k2. Panel is aliased to the King Air but I recommend finding a more suitable Dornier panel.

File Description:
This is a popular 2-place civilian and military trainer. Its performance is between a 172 and 182. Canopy gives excellent forward visibility and high tail is designed for use on short dirt strips. This is an update of the original version, based on feedback and photographs received from several users. The VC is extensively remodeled to be closer to the real airplane, and several mistakes on the exterior have been fixed. Uses default sound and gauges.

Pushback/Tow/Taxi Gauge Version 1.2

File Description:
This is version 1.2 of my groundhandling gauge that now supports the ability to tow the aircraft in addition to the pushback and taxi features. This update adds keyboard support for the control of all groundhandling features to support hardware cockpits, and some minor sound and cosmetic changes. Use this version over version 1.1. The hot key popup feature allows this gauge to be used in VC and external views. Enjoy! (updated with the proper documentation)
