Tiger Airways Australia Pty Ltd, operating as Tigerair Australia, is an Australian low-cost airline. It commenced services in the Australian domestic airline market on 23 November 2007 as Tiger Airways Australia. It is a subsidiary of Tiger Airways Holdings, a Singapore-based company, which is owned partially by Singapore Airlines. The airline is based in Melbourne, Victoria, with its main base at Melbourne Airport. After the 2011 CASA grounding, the airline has shut down its bases at Adelaide and Avalon and initially only operated out of its Melbourne base since returning to the air. On 7 March 2012, Tiger Airways announced that it will reopen a second base at Sydney Airport. On 4 September 2012 Tiger Announced they were resuming flights from Melbourne to Adelaide, beginning from 1 November 2012. On 18 December 2012 Tiger began direct return flights from Mackay to Melbourne and Mackay to Sydney. On 22 October 2012 CASA announced they were issuing a new safety certificate and lifting all restrictions placed on Tiger Airways Australia, as they were now satisfied they were no longer needed.
Tigerair's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-232 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. These are "clean" textures without shadows, highlights or dirt. They are not photoreal. They are in .dds format for FSX. They will not work in FS9. Includes textures and aircraft.cfg entry. I use them as AI aircraft. To install, you will need to download the appropriate Project Airbus base models from avsim.com.

In October 2013 JetBlue revealed a specially painted red A320 named Blue Bravest, an aircraft honoring the New York City Fire Department and the FDNY Foundation, adorned with the FDNY shield. JetBlue is based in New York with its largest hub at JFK. This bold aircraft can be seen throughout the airline's network. Painted here on the great Project Airbus model. Enjoy!

Features pressurisation outflow valve, controls air pressure by letting it out, opens below 30 knots on ground, ground spoilers, pack outlets, open different amounts due to temperature, idle reversers, reversers stay open for a couple of seconds after they have been shut off, open full when only idle reverse thrust is selected, parallel bogies in the double-bogey model (used by Indian Airlines), dropping surfaces elevators and ailerons drop when engines are shut off, opening passenger and cargo doors custom effects, double strobes, navigation and beacon lights, as well as touchdown effects, dynamic shine, wing views, accurate landing gear extension and retraction, and more.
