The new Aces for FS 2002 has arrived! This Airbus A-320 aircraft is a repaint of the original one created by Mike Stone The repaint represents the Colombian airline Aces in its new livery colors, after it emerged with Avianca and Sam to form the new Summa Alliance. This is an all new model designed from scratch using GMAX. The model has fully animated parts including functional suspension and folding landing gear struts. | BKS Viscount 806 (Leased from BEA) |

File Description:
BKS leased Viscount 806 aircraft from BEA in the mid sixties with just a minimal livery change. In fact the BEA lettering was not even removed from under the BKS logo. Shown here is G-APOX which has a claim to fame as being BEA's seventieth and final factory delivered Viscount. Not only was it the last 806, it was also the first. The aircraft was a rebuild of G-AOYF that was damaged beyond repair in a heavy landing in Johannesburg while on a Vickers demonstration tour. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper.

A highly realistic AFCAD for Dusseldorf (EDDL) Airport, of the German Airports 3 scenery ONLY! This AFCAD has been completely constructed from scratch, all taxiways and Runways are 100% aligned to the scenery. All gates are numbered as per the scenery. I have only assigned airlines to the Terminal Gates, remote parking stands have not been assigned airlines. Runway 05L/23R for landing, and 05R/23L for departures. You MUST have the German Airports 3 payware containing the Dusseldorf Airport, and ALSO a MUST is the apron expansion freeware by Helmut Maass, which is available here at AVSIM (eddl_apron_expansion.zip).

This is a mission of an historical nature. If you have ever flown in the Concorde or admire it like me, you will enjoy this mission. I have recreated a fictional race to watch the World Cup Soccer France-Uruguay Friday 11 June 2010 on 08:30pm South African Time life.
Starting in Paris and racing down towards Cape Town with a refuelling point halfway in the Atlantic Ocean.
Note: After landing at the refuel point, start-up, taxi out to the runway and take-off. The mission pointer will clear you to the next waypoint just after you cleared 200ft AGL.

File Description:
P38v1.1 for X-Plane 6.4-6.6. Improved paint job, panel and other minor improvements. The P38 developed a a result for a fast long range fighter requested by the US; most manufacturers ignored the call for proposals because of the ridiculous requirements. Lockheed, using the brilliant and unconventional ideas of their designer, Kelly Johnson (who later went on to help design the SR-71 Blackbird among others), came up with a plane that was totally unique for the time. It had two engines, used liquid cooled inlines instead of radials, tricycle landing gear, provided staggering operating ranges and payloads yet was able to maneuver capably with single engined fighters. The test models of the P38 made more "firsts" than any other plane both on paper and in the air.

| Lufthansa Boeing 737-230 'Landshut' |

File Description:
In October 1977, this Lufthansa Boeing 737-230 "Landshut" (D-ABCE) became famous when it was hijacked by terrorists on its flight as LH181 from PMI to FRA. After 5 days the German special command GSG9 finished the torture of the aircraft's passengers and crew members in Mogadishu. The repaint of the "Landshut" is intended to remember those days ans especially as a Flight Simulator's memorial to Cpt. Juergen Schumann, who was killed aboard of the "Landshut" after returning from checking the aircraft's landing gear. This repaint is based upon the 737-200 from FFX /SGA and photos of the real "Landshut". To enjoy this aircraft you should use Helio Estrela's Boeing 737-200 (also available on avsim.com) and a soundset for the Pratt & Whitney JT8-D engines. Have fun with this aircraft!

The RFDS will welcome the first of 3 new Pilatus PC-24 long range jet aircraft from 2017. The innovative aircraft will deliver increased fuel efficiency with twice the cruising speed of the PC-12. With an increased capacity to carry three stretchered patients, the ability to land on unpaved airstrips and shorter take off and landing capabilities, the PC-24 jets will be a game changer for the RFDS. Ultimately, it means we will be able to retrieve patients even more efficiently, and faster, from a greater number of locations around the state. Textures only.
