File Description:
Looking to fill up FlyTampa's Kai Tak? Look no further! This package contains 1998 flightplans for Air Macau, Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, and Cathay Cargo. Passenger plans are based off the summer 1998 Offical Airline Guide(OAG), while cargo plans are representative based off of early 2000s flightplans and backdated to represent the airlines in 1998. Air Macau did maintenance in Hong Kong and Air Hong Kong did training flights to Macau, this is represented in the flightplans with Air Macau spending a few days in HKG and Air Hong Kong doing 2 training flights on Sunday to MFM. If you are a P3D user, please download our package with repaints for FAIB and FSPX models. Each airline has up to 3 versions; standard, lite(with minimal variations), and bonus(with extra aircraft from the era but not active in 1998). These flightplans are part of a much larger 1998 Flight Simulator Project which will complete all scheduled, cargo, and charter flights to project countries as well as select military and GA plans as well as backdated scenery and ADEX. File Description: This scenery is very detailed in design fitting the newest airport layout from 2017. All important buildings are new designed, partly recreated by basicly using objects from the Sketchup Warehouse. Nighttextures are completely integrated. The surrounding area was adapted to the real surroundings by new landclasses. Also the mesh round the airport is adjusted. There are three Photobackgrounds aviable fitting the FSX standardscenery (all seasons), the Switzerland ProX (summer and winter) and Mega Scenery Earth (only summer). RECOMMENDED LIBRARIES:
Many smaller objects, such as people, cars, or static planes in this scenery, are taken from three popular freeware libraries, for which I got the kind permission of the authors. If these libraries are not installed, many objects are not visible! The following libraries are used: 1. FS-Piloten_Objektlibrary:

| Default Terminal Buildings Subset V2 scenery objects |
|

File Description:
[Version 2 adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install V2.] Many scenery making programs for FS9 give us access to the default terminal buildings in the FS9 libraries. Unfortunately the FS9 libraries are completely unorganized, so finding a specific shape and color of building can be time consuming. Also, many of the terminal buildings are too distinctive in appearance to be of much use to someone who is looking for simple shapes to use as "building blocks" to create their own terminals. I went through most of the FS9 scenery libraries that contain terminal buildings and chose a representative sampling of simple shapes in the various textures that are available, and compiled these into a scenery object library. This makes it easier to find, say, a two story, T-shaped, yellow textured terminal building. These are not new objects, they are default scenery objects created and owned by Microsoft. I'm simply providing a more convenient way to use them. Previous version had 9300(!) downloads.

| Thrust SSC |
|
File Description:
Thrust SCC (speed of sound car) X-Plane 6.40
Originally developed for x-plane 5, now updated to 6.40. The whole idea of this vehicle is to break the sound barrier without taking off. In 1997 the British in a Richard Noble car driven by Andy Green set a new unlimited Land Speed Record and officially broke the sound barrier on land for the first time with a record speed of 763.035 (Mach 1.0175). Two runs were made. The first was 759.333 MPH, at Mach 1.015. The all-important backup run was made within the hour, at 766.609 MPH, which is Mach 1.020. A goal that many among us had thought unattainable has been reached. And now, if you want to set a new world unlimited land speed record, you're going to have to break the sound barrier first. For more on the LSR see my web page . http://members.rogers.com/appster.. This is a take off of the British car that did the job with the help of 2 F4 Phantom jet engines. Find a flat piece of land and this car can do as much as mach 1.4 or 1.6. The trick is to get stopped before you run out of real estate.

| Lunar Mission Using Nuclear Power |
|
File Description:
This is a Lunar mission using a Shuttle-C unmanned cargo shuttle to deliver a nuclear powered rocket into orbit. A second mission by the Space Shuttle Atlantis delivers the moon lander and one crewman into orbit to dock to the nuclear N.E.R.V.A.-2 booster, which is capable of taking the single man lander to the moon and back to redock to the Atlantis, and land home safe and sound using the Atlantis.
Although the mission is totally my own creation, the machinery was researched and fairly accurate for weights and fuel efficiency. Using nuclear power a lot of payload can be pushed to the moon because it is over twice as strong as conventional rockets. Also, the Shuttle-C was actually in the process of being built by N.A.S.A during the 1990s (I've seen a photo of a partially built vehicle).
The Shuttle-C uses Vinka's multistage, but I have included the minimum files neccessary to make the Shuttle-C fly. You don't need to download anything other than this add-on. If you don't have Vinka's mulitstage, you won't see boosters or tanks after they've been jettisoned, so it would help to have it anyways.
This add-on is compatible with Build 021217 of Orbiter.

| P51 Black Widow for Vs. 6.4/6.51 |
|
File Description:
P-61B BLACK WIDOW for x-plane 6.4/6.51
The need for a true night fighter aircraft was well demonstrated during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Aircraft used to counter German night attacks were not very effective. At the direction of the Air Corp's Carl A. Spaatz, John Northrop submitted a ground up night fighter design, which, designated as the XP-61, first flew on May 26, 1942. The Black Widow was the first aircraft designed from the ground up as a night fighter. Its innovative slotted flaps and spoiler ailerons allowed operation from short airstrips and improved handling; the radar carried in its nose made it the dominant force in the night skies of Europe and the South Pacific. From July 6, 1944, when it claimed its first victory, to war's end, the P-61 distinguished itself as one of America's most unique fighting machines. After the war, P-61s were used in reconnaissance, weather research, and flight testing. The first American flight ejections were made from a P-61.
Only four P-61 aircraft are known to exist today.

| Sukhoi Su-9 'Fishpot-B' |
|
File Description:
The Sukhoi Su-9 'Fishpot-B' was the Su-7's interceptor counterpart, serving exclusively with the Soviet IA-PVO (air defence force). The tailed delta Su-9 was generally similar in configuration to the MiG-21, though larger and heavier.
This aircraft was never exported outside the Soviet Union, and saw
active duty for only a comparitively brief period before other aircraft developments moved the Su-9 into second line service.
The Su-11 all-weather interceptor was a refinement of the Su-9 with a new engine, new radar and improved armament. The Sukhoi 'FISHPOT' was withdrawn from Soviet service around 1980.
The Su-9 prototype was the T-3 experimental aircraft that had its maiden flight on May 26, 1956. About 1,000 Su-9s and a number of training two-seaters were produced until 1962. The Su-9 was added into the Soviet Air Defence Service inventory in October 1960 and remained in service until the end of 1970s.
About 30 air regiments were armed with Su-9, including 3 regiments in the Moscow Air Defence Region.
The Su-9 took part in interceptions of ultra high flying USAF U-2 reconnaissance aircraft in the early 60's.
