It was built in 1966 with c/n D-8133 and has been with its current owner since 1975, who has flown it over 1800 hour, all over Europe. It is still airworthy. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

FS2004 McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing F/A-18A+ assigned to VMFA-115 "Silver Eagles". A repaint of the awesome F/A-18C-D by Dean Reimer. Aircraft is available at www.aerialfoundry.ca. This aircraft was painted in a special Patriot scheme for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Textures only. You must have the F/A-18 from Aerial Foundry installed in order to use these textues. Enjoy!

RAF Fairford was constructed in 1944 to serve as an airfield for British and American troop carriers and gliders for the D-Day invasion of Normandy and Operation Market Garden during World War II.

This is an excellent version of the earlier versions of the Hornet (C and D models), and has been described as the "crotch-rocket of fighter aircraft."
