File Description:
The DC-3 'Betsy', converted from a C-47, was the founding aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways, serving the line between 1946-1955. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this package includes both her original and later liveries. Transparent cabin windows (with authentic gunports in the early version - they were pioneering days!), full nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding steps/ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 panel by Jorge 'Eko' Salas and FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Repaints by Mark Beaumont.

File Description:
German Cargo repaint for the AI-Aardvark Boeing 737-200. Textures only Aardvark's Boeing 737-200 basepack is needed. German Cargo Services (GCS) was a subsidiary company of Lufthansa. Founded in 1977 it provided split and full charter freight services. In 1984 the existing fleet of four Boeing 707-330C (former Lufthansa aircraft) was replaced by five Douglas DC 8-73. Later two Boeing 737-230C and three Boeing 747-230SF completed the fleet.

File Description:
This is the Captain Sim 707 E-3 model repainted in USAF textures. I have not found them,
so I went ahead and made some. The model is still the same, and although the wings reverse
the words, I got that problem fixed so it shows up right. I'd like to thank Captain Sim for
for a fine aircraft, and it is a smooth fly. If you don't have it yet, get it.

OpenSky Royal Australian Air Force Boeing 737 E-7A (A30-004). The Boeing 737 AEW&C is a twin-engine airborne early warning and control aircraft. It is lighter than the 707-based Boeing E-3 Sentry, and mounts a fixed, active electronically scanned array radar antenna instead of a rotating one. It was designed for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) under "Project Wedgetail" and designated E-7A Wedgetail. Model design by Hiroshi Igami.

I present here for you the scheduled flights as rostered on the DAS website. Valid till March 2006 these aircraft will be a welcome sight at many airports around the world. These are updated plans as the originals featured an error concerning Flight Levels.

File Description:
The DC-3 ZK-AWP served with New Zealand National Airways Corporation from July 1952, and was one of the last DC-3s retired from their fleet. Initially operated as 'Powhaitere', the aircraft was named 'Kaitaia' after conversion to 'Skyliner' status in May 1963. She has more recently been fully restored in these colours. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, the model includes transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound.

The 1st Austrian DC-3 Dakota Club's OE-LBC (c/n 13073, USAAF 42-93189, 20/4/1944, N86U from 1956) is the only DC-3 in Austria today and is operated as a private enthusiasts' club. She is restored in Austrian Airlines colours. For more information on this aircraft, visit http://dc-3club.org. File Description:
G-AHCZ was a Mk.III built in Oklahoma City and delivered to BOAC in 1946. It was transferred to BEA in 1947 and named 'Charles Samson', becoming a 'Pionair' Class DC-3 with modifications including an air-stair door. It flew the last BEA service between Northolt and Jersey in 1954 and was transferred to Cambrian Airways in 1959. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, with transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening air-stair door and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound. Packaged by Mark Beaumont.

These textures were created using Andre Folker's excellent paint kit for the Aero Commander 680 VC (Avialable at Avsim). This excellent aircraft of Team Commander won AVSIM's 2003 Bravo Zulu Award for Best Freeware Aircraft. I created these repaints for people who like to race cross country or each other online and also enjoy the legendary Grand prix Racers from the fifties and sixties which inspired these repaints. These aren't in any way historical. They were created for fun. I hope you enjoy them, as I plan to add more countries in the series soon.
