HelicopterLighthouseMissionsVol42.zip Download

File Description:
Eight lighthouse tours: Cape Navarin, Fourteen Foot Shoal, New Canal, Pilot Island, Punta Cumplida, Punta Orchilla, St.Davids, and Cheshkiy. These missions were programmed in Windows 10 (64bit)for FSX Acceleration and will also work in FSX Steam, P3DV3,V4,V5,and V6. However, several of these tours have specific requirements of Orbx scenery which is detailed in the .txt instructions.Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Once again, be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. These missions have been thoroughly tested and should work as described. Due to large topographic differences in P3DV5 and V6, there will be peculiarities, but the missions should still work. Please note: There are four tours here that will not work with any version of P3D due to scenery incompatibilities. They are Fourteen Foot Shoal, New Canal, Pilot Island, and Cheshkiy Maintenance.

File Description:
2021 Thessaloniki LGTS Makedonia airport P3D AFCAD file. Following major works that lasted more than a decade, LGTS airport in 2021 is nearing completion. This is an (AFCAD) scenery file that depicts the current status in year 2021. Runway 10-28 was extended to the west. Aprons and taxiways have now new layout with more capacity in taxi in - push back out style stands. All scenery used is comprised of P3Dv5 default objects, it may as well work fine with P3Dv4. Parking stands, taxiways and runways are accurate per the current charts included. Dynamic lights were added to the parking stands. Airport rotating beacon was added to the Control Tower. Until some serious scenery designer embarks on a project to recreate Thessaloniki this is a scenery file that will fill the gap of the missing airport in its current status. Scenery Designed with Airport Design Editor by ScruffyDuck Software. Official Airport charts included.

Consolidated PBY-5 VP-101 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX, representing PBY-5 BuNo2446. It was originally assigned to VP-23 at Pearl Harbor in November 1941, and all its aircraft were destroyed during the December 7 attacks by the Japanese. 2446 was rebuilt using parts from other PBY's and reassigned to VP-21. It flew to Perth, Western Australia in April 1942, becoming 'Boat 1' with VP-101. Lt (jg) Tom Pollock flew it with medicine and ammunition to Corregidor via Darwin just before the island surrendered in late April. 2446 was lost in action over New Guinea in August 1943, still flying with VP-101. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft. I have included two versions, one for P3Dv5 (without reflections) and one for the earlier sims (FSX/P3Dv1-4), with slight reflections. I felt these were too shiny in v5, but feel free to try for yourself.

Consolidated B-24D Liberator RAF (BZ862) 160 Sqn J Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-10-Cf 42-62885 BZ862 of the RAF. Arrived in the UK in 1943, it was flown to Karachi, arriving there in August 1943. It first flew with 354 Sqn with serial A, before going to 160 Sqn as J. It was based in Minneriya, in present-day Sri Lanka and was used for long distance mine-laying operations. For this, they removed all extra weight and installed three additional tanks in the forward bomb-bay. This aircraft flew a sortie to southern Malaya to drop two British officers near the Kota Tinggi/Johore road on 31-7/1-8-1945, captained by Flt Lt J A Muir RCAF, and was airborne for 24 hrs 10 mins, the longest unrefuelled flight ever made by any Allied landplane in World War II; the distance flown was 3,735 mls (6,013 km). Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

Texture Replacement for Phoenix (Arizona) Area Buildings Download

File Description:
Texture Replacement for Phoenix (Arizona) Area Buildings. There are two buildings in the default scenery for Phoenix, AZ which have needed correction since FSX was released. The original baseball stadium in downtown Phoenix was the Bank One Ballpark, along with the corresponding Bank One Building. Both were absorbed in 2005 by Chase Bank, with name changes (Chase Field and Chase Tower). Also, the local MLB team (Arizona Diamondbacks) changed their colors and logo style around the same time. None of this has been reflected in FSX-through-P3Dv5, as the original FSX textures have carried forward. I'm sure this isn't the only anachronism in the P3D world, but I am fixing my small corner of it. This fix is good for any version of FSX or P3D published to date (DDS textures), just copy the enclosed "scenery" folder into the main folder of your sim of choice, and over-write when prompted. The textures are only 512x512, as are the originals, so I may or may not re-do these in an HD-size in the future, but it will have to be from scratch, so no promises.

Consolidated PBY-5A (ZK-AMP) TEAL Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX, representing PBY-5 ZK-AMP of Tasman Empire Airways Ltd. The Royal New Zealand Air Force had 56 Catalina's in all between 1943 and 1953. They were registered NZ4001-4056 inclusive and included 22 PBY-5s (mostly MklVAs) with the remainder being PB2B-1 s. All were flying boats, with no amphibian models being taken on charge. After the war only half a dozen or so of the best aircraft were maintained in service with No 5 Sqn (squadron code became PA-) and fitted with the latest search radar which had a large radome behind the cockpit. The remainder were put into storage. Two PB2B-ls were loaned to Tasman Empire Airways Ltd (TEAL) for short periods after the war, one (which became ZK-AMI) as a crew trainer, the other (ZK-AMP, former NZ4038 PA-J) to survey a flying boat route from Fiji to Tahiti, later to become known as "The Coral Route" and used by TEAL's Solent flying boats. These two aircraft were eventually returned to the RNZAF before being scrapped. I have included two versions, one for P3Dv5 (without reflections) and one for the earlier sims (FSX/P3Dv1-4), with slight reflections. I felt these were too shiny in v5, but feel free to try for yourself. I did paint this aircraft earlier, this paint has been adapted and improved on all fronts.

Piper PA-18 Super Cub Extreme (SE-GKC) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Piper Super Cub Extreme for P3Dv5 by Flight Replicas. It shows SE-GCK. Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub c/n 18-7918, built in 1963, entered service with the Swedish Army Air Corps (Arméflygkar) as the Fpl 51B '51245'. Swedish military aircraft are identified by designations, consisting of a role prefix and a sequential number: the Piper PA-18-150 has not a special task and is a Fpl 51 (Flygplan). The Swedish defence forces originally used the Piper PA-18 Super Cub as an artillery observation platform for the Army. The first batch of six Piper PA-18-150 Super Cubs was designated Fpl 51A in Sweden and delivered in 1958. In 1959, a second batch of six Piper PA-18-150s arrived in Sweden. These aircraft were modified for military use and designated Fpl 51B. In 1963, a third batch of six Fpl 51B was delivered, including Fpl 51B '51245'. Totally six Fpl 51A and twenty-three Fpl 51B were flown by the Swedish defence forces. In 1973, the Fpl 51B '51245' was withdrawn from active service in the Army. On 12 July 1973, the aircraft was registered SE-GCK as a Piper PA-18-150 with a private owner and it is still airworthy in Swedish Army colors. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

UGAM Ambrolauri Airport, Georgia [FSX] Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
DISCLAIMER: The FSX Version is a straight port from the P3D version and might have issues or missing features compared to the P3Dv5 version. The screenshots are taken in P3D. Ambrolauri Ambrolauri (Georgian: ამბროლაური) is a city in Georgia, located in the western part of the country, on both banks of the Rioni river, at the elevation of 550 m above sea level. It is a self-governing city. At the same time, the city serves as the seat of the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regional administration and the Ambrolauri Municipality. According to the 2014 census, the city had a population of 2,047. Its area is 1.6 km². Ambrolauri is first recorded in the 17th century as a place, where one of the palaces of the kings of Imereti was located. It acquired the city status in 1966 and became a self-governing city with its own municipal government in 2014. The Airport The airport is nestled into the Caucasus mountains right at the bank of the river Rioni. It has a single runway of 1100 m length and caters small propeller aeroplanes. The apron has space for two planes at a time and caters up to 50 passengers at one time. In the Simulator The virtual airport is very close to its real-world counterpart. All the buildings at and near the airport are modelled and the terminal even has an interior that can be seen from outside. The look and feel from a trip to the Racha region is definitely there. In real life, only small planes fly to the airport but that shouldn't stop you to bring planes from the size of the Dash 8.

Cessna 421 advanced physics Download

File Description:
C421C advanced physics Modification for the Alabeo C421 C Golden Eagle Version: tested for P3DV4; should work also with P3DV5 (and probably FSX) 1. Why I developed the advanced physics version I was asked via this forum, via PMs and also by e-mails to provide a modified version of the Alabeo C421C which can be used for serious multi-engine training. It should have accurate type specific performance for both AEO (all engine operative) and OEI (one engine inoperative), the latter for either a windmilling prop at various speeds and for a feathered engine. Feathering should work as realistic as possible. Thus, I developed an advanced physics version of the Alabeo C421C. It shows realistic physics for negative thrust (prop drives engine). This is necessary for OEI training and more realistic idle power simulation. 2. Modified files Modification includes “c421.air” and “aircraft.cfg” files. Data is based on real world Cessna 421C, N100L, 421C-0313. Aircraft data, equipment list, checklist and other documents for N100L, as well as some images of C421C, registration N100L, can be found here, too. Unfortunately, due to copyrights, I can’t upload the full files and can’t provide the AFM and other copyright protected documents. 3. How to install To update “c421.air”: - Copy the original Alabeo C421 to another aircraft folder, e.g. “C421C advanced physics”. - Use AirEd (freeware) and open the original “c421.air”. Open AirEd a second time and open “modifications advanced physics c421.air”. Copy the modified tables 511 and 512 to the original .air file (right click in modification file -> copy -> right click on original file -> replace from clipboard) To update “aircraft.cfg”: Just copy the modifications to the corresponding position in the original file. 4. Legend of modifications Modifications in aircraft.cfg: - Basic Empty Mass (actual mass for N100L 5,154 lbs inserted; most C421C are more heavy, ours is on diet) - correct basic data for engines + props - engine friction included (necessary for all negative thrust scenarios) - flaps lift + drag scalar adjusted (split flaps) - 2 vacuum pumps - VMO = 151 KIAS; VNE= 240 KIAS - cabin: max. differential pressure: 5.0 psi Modifications in c421.air: - implemented negative thrust scenarios in prop thrust and efficiency curves (tables 511 + 512); adjusted thrust curves for high TAS at high ALT 5. Side effects of modifications: - more realistic engine starting: starting the engine needs the throttle to be 2 cm above idle (see checklist) for the first 15 seconds - if you start the engine and don’t retard the prop to medium RPMs immediately, you will overstress engine and prop. So be careful when doing an air start, you might lose the prop and the aircraft. (In the real aircraft, these effects are less severe, but you have to avoid high RPMs until the engine is warmed up and have to avoid rapid change of RPM.) 6. Additional Notes: - Basic aircraft data as published by the manufacturer, like range and service ceilings, especially OEI, are based on MTOM. - The use of high payloads close to MTOM and higher ambient temperatures are making for a more challenging OEI training. - In the sim, climb power is too low compared to full power (about 65 % instead of 75 %). I have to find a way to adjust that. - I have buttons for engine failure under the mixture (see images) - Seat Position is, like in many Aircraft, higher than as per Default by the sim. For the C421C and me being 5 ft 7 in, that's about 7 clicks arrow up.
