File Description:
Textures only of the Japanese Air Self Defence Force Boeing B747-47C 20-1101. This aircraft serves Japan and flies under the callsign Japanese Air Force One. It's sistership 20-1102 flies as Japanese Air Force Two. They use the "Japanese Air Force" callsigns only when performing state visits, when a higher member of government is on board or whenever the Imperial Family are onboard. The written callsign for the 2 aircraft are JF001 and JF002. They are used by the government of Japan for overseas travel by the Emperor, Prime Minister and other high-ranking officials. When not doing official flights, the aircraft lies and under "CYGNUS01" and sistership "CYGNUS02". Normally this is during training. Made in tribute to my best friend and all others lost 5 years since the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami. This repaint contains updated exterior night lighting. Requires the payware Overland / Simmer's Sky 747-400 model to work. Should work in both FSX and FS9.

| Qatar Airways 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
Qatar Airways was only 4 years old in 1998, however, the fleet was already quite different and the livery had changed into the grey colors. The 2 747-200s were gone, having been leased out to Saudia for Hadji flights and never returning, and A300-600Rs had replaced the A310s (A310s would later rejoin for VIP and Freight ops). At the time, London and Munich were the only destinations in Europe and Asia was not served beyond India. Though the fleet was small in 1998, the airline would quickly grow into a large a reputable carrier which now spans the globe and even operates A380s despite the humble beginnings not so long ago! Included are fleet repaints for the AIA 727-200 and TFS A300-600R PW by Raphael Rodrigues. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Cameroon Airlines 'Circa 1980' Boeing 707-300 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the 707-300 in Cameroon Airlines colors. The payware Captain Sim 707-300 is needed for this repaint. The Cameroon government decided to pull out of the Air Afrique consortium on September 2 1971. They went on to form their own national carrier, Cameroon Airlines, which started operations on November 1 of the same year. Their route network consisted mainly of destinations in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Camair (as it was known) was a success story. In terms of quality of its service, two years after the entry into service of its Boeing 747- Combi, Camair was nominated in the prestigious IATA ranking coming out 6th in the world in June 1983. Camair was the undisputed leader in the sub-region of Central Africa and West Africa. Due to economic and safety issues in later years, Camair ceased operations in March 2008. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

| EVA Air 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
EVA was growing quickly in 1998, focusing on international routes and leaving most of the domestic flying to its subsidiary, Uni Air. The MD-90s were very quickly transferred to Uni Air by late 1998, so these plans represent a rare time with a pair of MD-90s in the old EVA Air colors. EVA had amassed a decent fleet of 747s by 1998 and was even flying a KHH-LAX route several times weekly. Most MD-11s were already flying for EVA Cargo, and the 3 pax MD-11s remaining had the "ANK EVA" partnership logo. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 767-200, 767-300, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and AIA MD-90 included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Air Ceylon, Lockheed L-749A Constellation, 1956-1958 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Air Ceylon was formed in 1947 by the government of the newly independent Republic of Ceylon (nowadays Sri Lanka). That same year three Lockheed L-749 Constellations were ordered for the connection Colombo-London. The order for the Connies lapsed and in 1949 Air Ceylon started a service operating Douglas DC-4s leased from Australian National Airways (ANA), who owned 49% of the shares (the other 51% were owned by the government of Ceylon). However, fierce competition from BOAC's DH-104 Comet 1 and TWA's L-749 Constellation forced Air Ceylon to close the London connection in 1953. In 1955 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines took over the shares from ANA. From 7 February 1956 till 1 November 1958 Air Ceylon leased KLM's L-749A Constellation PH-LDP for its new, weekly connection Colombo-(Bombay)-Karachi-Bahrain-Cairo-Rome-London-Amsterdam. For a limited period this route was extended from Colombo to Bangkok. PH-LDP was sprayed in a very pretty, exotic livery and received the name 'Mahadevi', its previous name having been 'Rotterdam'. In November 1958 PH-LDP was superseded by KLM's L-1049G Super Constellation PH-LKA/4R-ACH which also received a full Air Ceylon livery. On 3 November 1958 PH-LDP was written from use at Schiphol (Amsterdam) and has been scrapped sometime in 1962.
These are textures only. You will require Team 749's (Manfred Jahn & Co) Lockheed L-749 Constellation Basic Pack (lockheed749.zip), the folder Lockheed_L749_1 (twin stack exhausts). Also required Team 749's Lockheed L-749 Constellation Models Update (749_models_update.zip). Included mdl's custom made by Manfred Jahn. Repaints (based on Manfred Jahn's textures) by Maarten Brouwer.

| FSX/P3D TAI DC-3 1962 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in TAI (Transports Aeriens Intercontinentaux) colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. In 1946 the French government allowed the creation of some independent air carriers. On June 1 of that year TAI (Transports Aeriens Internationaux) was formed, and was based in Orly, France. Flights began on July 1, with a Junkers Ju-52. The following year they purchased 7 ex KLM DC-4s, along with 3 Bristol 170 freighters. In 1954 DC-6Bs started to replace the DC-4s. Their route network serviced mainly Africa, the Far East, the French Pacific territories, and Australasia. Prior to 1956 their network wa mainly in Africa, and Asia. On May 6, 1960, a partnership was formed with Air France, whereby TAI flew the South Pacific leg of the state carrier’s around the world service via New Caledonia and Tahiti. Later, on September 4 1960, TAI began a Douglas DC-8-32 service from Paris to Darwin via Athens, Teheran, Karachi, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Saigon, and on September 12, it inaugurated a route from Sydney to Los Angeles via Noumea, Nandi, Papeete, and Honolulu with the DC-8. On September 14 1961, TAI agreed, in principle, to a future merger with Union Aeromaritime de Transport (UAT). The two airlines integrated their schedules in 1962 and the amalgamation of TAI and UAT was completed on October 1, 1963, resulting in a new airline: UTA (Union de Transports Aeriens). This DC-3, F-BGXN, flew for TAI from 1956 to 1959. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
