The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific in WWII. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds. This a fairly accurate rendition of the PBY except that the retractable pontoons are missing. Why? Well basically after using all the tricks I know I ran out of parts. There are 6 engine nacelles used in the model, 2 represent the 1200 HP radial engines driving the props, the others are jets with 5 lbs of thrust, 1 is used for the rear fuselage section, 1 is used for the wing pylon, 1 is used for the flare from the fuselage to the vertical stabilizer and the last is used for the forward observation and gunner space. Two are not used. Wing sections are taken up by the main wing and the support spars so there you go. The fuel tanks are used for the side gunner pods since these can be decorated separately. The plane flies very well and is stable. Takeoffs from water are quite easy as long as you don't dip a wing tip (no floats remember). This aircraft model and the paint scheme is copyright by Robert App, January 2003. Feel free to alter the paint scheme and instrument panel as long as you give me credit for the original design. Many know that KATL was not updated in FSX do to the airport data cutoff date. KATL now has the new Runway 10/28 but there are many additions added which are to numerous for listing here. Several key changes are all 5 parallel runways are ATC controlled Arrival runways for both the User and AI Plane Traffic. All Gates and Parking Spots have been updated so AI Airline Planes including Cargo, Commuter, and Corporate GA park in the correct places. New Approach code including the 5 new STAR's, RNAV (gps overlay's), many new Transitions and correct Runway data as per current Jeppesen Charts (freeware charts included). Many features have also been fixed such as Jetways that moved the wrong way, recoding the ILS CAT II Runway 28 frequency, updating KLZU ILS Runway 25 frequency, many scenery GUID's to support KATL based on how it looks today and additional ground support tracks that go to many more places including all Cargo Stands. Read the included Whats New Readme txt file for all the enhancements and how I coded ATC to use all 5 parallel runways for arrival vectors to decrease the go around issues at large airports.

TinMouse II Project Boeing 737-230ADV 'Landshut' D-ABCE
Repaint of Lufthansa's Boeing 737-230 'Landshut', Reg. D-ABCE, c/n 20254/230. This aircraft was hijacked by palestine terrorists in October 1977 as LH181 on its way from Palma de Mallorca to Frankfurt/M. The pilot in command, Juergen Schumann, was shot aboard at Aden airport.
After 5 days crew and passengers were freed by the GSG-9 at Mogadischu airport. After 2 months of retirement, the second officer Juergen Vietor
returned back into LH service; his first flight took him aboard the 'Landshut' which continued service for Lufthansa until 1985. She is still in service as PT-MTB for TAF Linhas Areas and she is used for cargo flights...

US Navy/US Marine Corps IAI F-21A Lion. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the Israeli Aircraft Industries Kfir (Lion Cub). Going into operational production in 1975 as a new-build Israeli re-design of the venerable Mirage III/5 series, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This aircraft, just like the real-deal, is a fair re-work of my original Mirage 5 model; with new wings, gear, fuselage, tail, and other goodies. This package includes the USN/USMC-operated F-21A Lion, used as an aggressor aircraft in the mid-80s; with 5 models and 25 repaints. A note, these are slightly modified models and will not be compatible with any previous Kfir paints from this project, but any previous Kfir C1 models will work with these repaints (sounds odd, but these models are slightly improved). Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.
