New Vickers VC10 Panel, Part 5

File Description:
This update is the product of a major aircraft refit and extensive engine overhaul. All the engine problems that were inherent in the original model (and there were many) have finally been resolved.

Gone is the unreal and potentially engine wrecking surge on start-up. And, the reversers kicking in while the engines are off! Also the engine performance profiles have been completely re-modelled to conform to the correct specifications and engine limitations schedule. New cockpit sounds have been introduced to give the truecockpit ambience. So now you can at last hear the famous Conway howl and scream from within the cockpit (just!). Check lists have been further extended. Furthermore there are four completely new panels plus numerous tweaks and enhancements to existing gauges. All fully illustrated and explained in the documentation.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines Fleet Pack 5

File Description:
Aeroflot began in March 1923 as Dobrolet with a mixed fleet of De Havilland, Vickers, Junkers and other aircraft. Dobrolet merged into Dobroflot in 1929 and flew all services within Russia. By 1932 the airline was called Aeroflot. After the second world war international sevices began. At one stage Aeroflot had a massive fleet of over 7,500 aircraft although this fleet was pretty much ALL the civilian aircraft in the former Soviet Union. Aeroflot began the world's first sustained jet airline service using Tupolev Tu-104 'Camel' jets (developed from the Tu-16 'Badger' bomber) on an extensive internal route network from the summer of 1955. The Tu-104 saw service until the mid-1970s. After the breakup of the Soviet Union Aeroflot broke up into lots of smaller carriers and became known as Aerflot - Russian International Airlines. Aeroflot began using leased Boeing 767s and 737-400s alongside the older soviet types and with a revised livery. The Russian flag replaced the Red Flag. Airline history supplied by http://airlines.afriqonline.com. The fifth release contains the Aeroflot ANTK Tupolev TU-154M aircraft. Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft model is by PAI and can be obtained at the associated sites. These packages support MRAI fightplans for WI04. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

Resized 3D Cloud Texture V.5

File Description:
Resized default cloud texture (cumulus01.bmp) for 3D clouds in FS2004. Texture was resized from 512X512 to 128X128, cutting filesize from 1,33MB to 16KB. This file is recommended for those who prefer speed (FPS) over visual detail. The difference in visual detail in my opinion is minimal. IN THIS VERSION: Removed Mip-maps to make the filesize much smaller (16kb). Texture was modified to make clouds brighter/white instead of blueish-gray. Optional texture included for those who prefer "default" texture color. IMPORTANT: To avoid errors, turn the "Render to texture" box to ON in "Display Settings". Smaller texture sizes improve framerate (FPS). TEXTURE ONLY.
