File Description:
This package corrects a number of issues that have surfaced since the initial release of this aircraft. A revised aircraft configuration file is included to fix problems with the scrape points and underwing retractable landing lights. A modified panel configuration file and Switch panel bitmap are included to add a switch for the retractable landing lights. Missing gauges for some of the switches are included as well. Also included are two additional liveries, one to update the NAvy rescue 911 repaint uploaded yesterday. This was based on photos of a bogus livery. Also added are textures for a fictitious private livery. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION!

This is upload is a replacement for the June 2005 upload that was lost due to the Avsim Library hack.

File 2nd of 11 of a Terrain Mesh that covers the entirety of Mexican Territory and related bordering U.S., Guatemala and Belice areas, part of the "Proyecto M�©xico Real" project, compiled at LOD10 (1.24 arcseconds in latitude and 1.65 arcseconds in longitude) resolution from INEGI data. Intended to enhance the virtual flying experience complementing the LOD8 and LOD9 versions compiled from the same data. Compatible backwards with Flight Simulator 2000, Flight Simulator 2002 and Combat Flight Simulator 2. Refer to the file contents about the cover area to this compressed file. | Himalayas LOD9 Base Mesh, Volume 2 - Southcentral Ranges |

Detailed terrain mesh of the Southcentral Himalayan Ranges, N26-32 E82-90. The files in this package are based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) Version 2 data but with many of the void areas, especially the most significant sections, filled with elevation data generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti. While Jonathan's work is unrelated to flight simulation he kindly gave me permission to compile his data for use in FS. The result is a wonderful improvement in detail and accuracy over any existing mesh file, freeware or commercial, based on SRTM or DTED data alone.
Due to the large area of the Himalayas I've compiled the source data as two separate series: the "Himalayan Peaks" series covers prominent mountains and ranges in higher detail and locally overrides any existing LOD9 terrain mesh. In addition, a LOD9 "base mesh" series, with LOD8 and LOD7 "buffer" mesh files, covering the entire Himalayas, is meant for those who do not yet have an add-on terrain mesh of these beautiful mountains.

Highly detailed repaint including decals and patches as used on jackets and helmets during the 2003 homecoming from the USS Constellation.
High resolution repaint in carrier ready Red/White/Blue/Grey with clean paint and no weathering/wear and tear effects added. Armaments and stores repainted to live ammunition and unit decals added frame and tail. Callsign VCPMOD included for EditVoicepack users.
VF-2 retired their F-14's in 2003 transitioning to the F-18 Strike fighter. This repaint is of the first of many for the Bounty Hunters F-14's over their 26 years in active service
