Von Humboldt's Latin America expedition

File Description:
Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich Alexander Freiherr von Humboldt (September 14, 1769 - May 6, 1859) was a German naturalist and explorer. Between 1799 and 1804, Humboldt traveled extensively in Latin America, exploring and describing it for the first time in a manner generally considered to be a modern scientific point of view. On June 5, 1949 (150 years after Von Humboldt's departure) our journey begins in La Coruna, Spain, in Lufthansa's Dornier Do-26 flying boat to follow this example. Since Von Humboldt also made many in-land journeys on the South-American continent, we use the Junkers Ju-52 for our continental VFR flights. This is a complete package and my appreciation and thanks goes out to Pierino Primavesi for his liberal permission to work with his files. Animated model, flight model, 2D-panel, XML-metric-gauges, virtual cockpit and cabin, instrument lightning, reflective texture, html check/ref lists, html manual. The plane is perfectly flyable from inside the 3D cockpit. I also wish to thank Herb "Lizardo" Morse for his dynamics tweaks. It is not necessary but I HIGHLY recommend downloading Mr. Primavesi's original model with numerous historical liveries, filename ju52v60.zip; available in the avsim file library. The textures are 32-bit format with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. Enjoy!
