File Description: Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - Issue Number 25 - Addenda. This latest issue of Tips and Tricks is a compilation of various items which have crossed my desk since the "final" issue was released in November of 2006. Many new, and hopefully useful, ideas are presented with the goal of providing something of interest for those who are new to FS2004 as well as experienced users. One segment details the procedures I used to setup a second installation of FS2004 on the same hard drive. Additionally, there are two "from the e-mail bag" segments which answer questions of general interest plus a special set of Bonus files. An updated index for the entire series (compiled by John Burford) is also included. Please unzip to a temporary folder. File Description: Tips and Tricks - Number 14. In this issue there is a discussion of the MS Traffic Tool Box addon which many may not know exists. Numerous recommendations for new and different things to do and audition are also included as well as the usual assortment of "How-To's", links to useful sites, and much, much more. There is also a segment reviewing some exceptional aircraft design work. In addition there is a "from the e-mailbag" department where we try to answer a question of general interest submitted by a reader. Updated indexes by John Burford in .xls (Excel) and .pdf formats for the entire series are included. As usual, I have attempted to include something of value for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Riddle Airlines DC-4

File Description:
Riddle Airlines DC-4 This is Jens Kristensen's model repainted by Dave McQueen, April, 2006, textures only. The original aircraft is available at www.Avsim.com. You must download and install his DC-4 model for FS2004 to use these files. Look for DC4_V10.zip. Riddle Airlines began operations in 1945 as a non scheduled carrier. Later as a mostly all cargo airline it began scheduled operations and flew passenger/cargo flights for the US military. Riddle flew C46s, DC-4s, DC-6s, DC-7s, DC-8s and Armstrong Whitworth Argosy turboprops. The name changed to Airlift International in 1963. Airlift acquired Slick Airways in 1966 and managed to survive several bankruptcies only to go under for good in 1991. Riddle was founded by John Paul Riddle, also a founder of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Prescott, Arizona and Daytona Beach, Florida.

Montserrat Island - Leeward Islands, Lesser Antilles, Caribbean Sea

File Description: A representation of Montserrat using photo-real scenery along with hand placed autogen. Montserrat is a British overseas territory located in the Leeward Islands, part of the chain of islands called the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. Its capital city of Plymouth was destroyed by an eruption of the previously dormant Soufriere Hills volcano in 1995. Between 1997 and 2005, Montserrat had been accessible only by helicopters or boats. The airport's name was changed in July 2008 to honour John Osborne, long-standing Chief Minister of Montserrat and the airline FlyMontserrat has its headquarters on the airport property. For the best results of this scenery, PWSceneries Volume 5 has to be installed. Features included are custom photo scenery covering the entire island, hand placed autogen, detailed 3D Objects and custom buildings. Works in FSX and P3D.

Air Pacific Boeing 747-412

File Description:
A repaint of Air Pacific special color scheme Boeing 747-412 (ex Singapore Airlines)adorned with huge photographic decals of two of Fiji's holiday resorts, Beachcomber and Castaway Islands. The textures are painstakingly painted right down to the details, with 100% accurate PW engine and pylon textures as well as a wingset made directly from images of the aircraft's wing. Day textures with realistic reflections are in quality 32bit format. Includes some photorealistic misc, and internal parts textures (e.g. doors, 3D looking engine fans, below deck & main deck cargo compartments). All textures have been altered from the paintkit. Painted on Project Opensky's quality 747-400 v3 gMAX model Works in both FS2004 and FS2002.

File Description:
Boeing/McDonnell-Douglas F-15C Eagle AF76027 of the 27th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 1st Fighter Wing USAF from Langley AFB Virginia. The particular airframe represented in this repaint has been retired to the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio USA. This aircraft features night lighting, afterburner, and wingtip vortex effects.
