c/n 12924 Ghana Airways Bristol 175 Britannia 309. Originally built as a 305 model then converted to a 309. Delivered on 27 July 1960 and later sold to IAS Cargo International Aviation Service on 12 February 1965 and registered as G-ANCH. Broken up at Biggen Hill in August 1973. Textures only, prior installation of Jens B Kirstensen's FS2004 Bristol Britannia (Brt_V10.zip) is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-4 in Riddle Airlines colors. The freeware DC-4 (C-54) by Jens B Kristensen is needed for this repaint. Riddle Airlines operated 8 DC-4s from 1955 to 1962. This aircraft, N33679, was with Riddle from 1956 to 1962, when it was phased out. Textures are 32bit DDS. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. In November 1966 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland started its activities with 2 Douglas DC-6 and 1 Douglas DC-6B aircraft. Despite stiff competition from KLM and Martinair Holland, Transavia was able to conquer a considerable part of the charter and inclusive tours market and expanded its fleet with a several more DC-6B's. In 1968 Transavia became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra using its fleet of DC-6's. The next year the DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp who continued flying the Biafra missions till January 1970. Featured here are DC-6 PH-TRA (1966 livery) and DC-6 PH-TRB (1968 livery). Today Transavia is a major Dutch low cost and charter airline (owned by Air France-KLM) operating Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. These are textures only. You will require Jens B.
