File Description:
Here is a repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B model for FSX, in the colors of #42-106661, PZ-J "Hot Stuff". the aircraft of major Willie O. Jackson of the HQ of the 352rd FG. The aircraft was lost on 7 june 1944, with its pilot, major Edward J.Gignac being killed. I've included two paints, one with, and one without invasion stripes. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Warbirdsim.

This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire IX MK392 JE-J of Wing Commander J.E. 'Johnnie' Johnson, No 144 Wing, based in Ford and B3 St Croix sur Mer, June-July 1944. He was the highest scoring Spitfire pilot of WW2, with 34 individual victories over enemy aircraft, as well as seven shared victories, three shared probable, 10 damaged, three shared damaged and one destroyed on the ground. Johnson flew 700 operational sorties and engaged enemy aircraft on 57 occasions. Included in his list of individual victories were 14 Messerschmitt Bf 109s and 20 Focke-Wulf Fw 190s destroyed making him the most successful RAF ace against the Fw 190. This score made him the highest scoring Western Allied fighter ace against the German Luftwaffe. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

| Republic P-47D-20 365th FG (B4-J) "the Madam" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-75845 B4-J "The Madam". It was the assigned aircraft of Lieutenant John H. Fetzer, from Shreveport Louisiana, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG during D-Day. He was flying as wingman of Capt. Arlo Henry on 6 June 1944, D-Day, when they spotted a number of Tiger tanks trying to hide in a castle. Capt Henry blew up the castle with his bombs, while Lt Fetzer attacked a Tiger with his 1000 lb bombs. His first bomb exploded harmlessly in a field, but his second "my contribution to D-Day" exploded right behind the Tiger, flipping it over 3 times. As for 42-75845, she proved to be a very strong lady. It began its career with the initial start of operations of the 365h FG, with Lt. Fetzer as its original pilot. He named the aircraft after his future wife, Helen. It flew its 200th mission in March 1945, and continued right to the end of the war, as the only remaining original Thunderbolt of the 365th. She was shot up several times, had wings and engines replaced and countless holes patched, but its crew chief, Joe DiMaio remarked that as long as 'the Madam' came back, he would keep her flying, and he did. Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-17M3 Fitter J "Blue 23", circa 1980's in Afghanistan, painted using Kazunori Ito's outstanding Su-17M3 model, available on www.simviation.com. This rugged strike aircraft, and its variants, was a mainstay of Soviet/Russian tactical aviation from the 1970's onward, and is still in service with several countries. This model is flyable or useful for AI traffic. This is a textures-only file, you need Kazunori Ito's full aircraft to use.

This file contains alternative textures for the FSX A2A Messerschmitt Bf109E version 1.2. These textures depict the Messerschmitt Bf109E-3 in an unusual camouflage pattern, flown by an unknown pilot from 2.(j)LG2 (Lehrgeschwader) during the Balkan campaign during spring 1941. FS 2004-2002 Republic P-47-D FAB (Força Aeraunáutica Brasileira) -- This texture was made by Jean-Claude Pistoresi ‘Mangueira’ in 2006 for the original model by J R Lucariny (http://lucariny.sites.uol.com.br). Thanks to the author for his permission. -- This painting is in a honor to Fernando Correa Rocha, ex-member of 1st Grupo de Aviação de Caça (1° GavCA) during the World war II. Then 2e tenente-aviador Rocha, he was pilot in the famous "Senta a Pua" and took part in the Italian sky to 75 missions of attack against the forces of the Axis. This plane, Republic P-47D-25-RE "FAB4109", recently restored, belongs to the Fundação Santos-Dumont (São Paulo - Brazil) -- The original model by J R Lucariny is necessary to use this FAB repaint.

Textures for Mike Stone's C-130H in the colours of a WC-130J of the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, the "Hurricane Hunters". The 'J' model is due to replace the currently used 'H' model in the near future. Hand-painted in 32-bit format for best quality, based on photos taken from http://www.airliners.net. Fly or use as AI.
