| Delta Air Lines Boeing 747-400 |

In January 2018, Delta retired its last Boeing 747, ending a 47 year career for the fleet type that began in the 1970s. Known as the “Queen of the Skies,†the 747 is one of the most popular and recognizable aircraft in the world. While Delta's early 747s were returned back to Boeing in 1977, Northwest continued to grow its fleet with 747-100s, -200s, and eventually -400s in 1989. They formed the backbone of Northwest's strong transpacific network.
The first Boeing 747-400 ever built, N661US, was retired from service in September 2015 after logging more than 61 million miles. Now it sits preserved as an exhibit at the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta. This repaint pays tribute to the 747 and all the employees who fueled its success. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

File Description:
This is a repaint (textures ONLY) of AI-Aardvark 747-400 GE in the imaginary livery of Iran Air (for IR doesn’t own any 744 at the moment) with the fake registration EP-IED. Since I have named another IR744 of mine “Cyrus the Great” decided to name this one too after another Achaemenian King hence it’s named “Darius the Great” (Dariush-e Bozorg) hoping that you’ll like it. Please mind that this is an AI specified aircraft and you cannot fly it.

Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. Model Designer Hiroshi Igami. Flight Dynamics Designer Warren C. Daniel. Tested by Project Open Sky Members. Master textures by Corey Ford/Yosuke Ube.

File Description:
This package contains two Ansett Australia liveries for the default Boeing 747-400 in Flight Simulator X. The first is the standard livery (VH-ANB) and the second is the special livery "Sydney 2000" (VH-ANA)- Ansett being the official Olympic airline at the time. Both textures have no mipmaps for increased texture quality.
