The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. FS2004 Lockheed L-749A Constellation TWA 1958.
In June 1939 TWA (Transcontinental & Western Air) required a four-engined airliner capable of flying transcontinental US services non stop west to east or with one stop travelling in the opposite direction against the prevailing wind. The specification was drawn up by TWA's major shareholder Howard Hughes and TWA-director Jack Frye. The intial result was the L-49 Constellation, but before the first aircraft was built WWII broke out and the Connie was drafted by the militaries as C-69. After the war the C-69 was renamed L-049 Constellation and delivered to a.o. TWA (27). The L-649 and L-749 Constellations were the first true civil versions. TWA used 12 L-749's and 28 L-749A's from March 1948 till 1967. This particular L-749A, N6001C 'Star of New Jersey', flew with TWA from 24 March 1950 till September 1966. It was scrapped in 1968.
This repaint is a much improved version of the one issued in 2006. It has not been tested for the FSX version of Abacus' Constallation but probably will function there as well.

| TransBrasil Yellow BAC One-Eleven 520 |

File Description:
This aircraft was the first One-Eleven to be delivered to the renamed Trans Brasil. Painted in the new TransBrasil livery it had a revised version of the SADIA Sun logo. The original style SADIA logo was adopted for the subsequent aircraft and this aircraft was altered to match the rest of the fleet. It is depicted here in it's latter days with the airline after the revised logo was applied. This machine was lost in a heavy landing in January 1975 at Sao Paulo-Viracopos. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby.

TRIP Linhas Aéreas (Transporte Aéreo Regional do Interior Paulista) is an airline based in Campinas, Brazil. The airline was established in 1998 with two Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and was wholly owned by the Caprioli Group until November 2006, when Águia Branca Group (Chieppe family) bought 49% of its capital. On January 25th, 2007 TRIP has placed an order for seven new ATR 72-500s with options for a further five of the twin turboprops, this deal is its first new ATR order, and the first for the ATR 72-500 in Brazil. Enjoy flying over Brazil!

| Hewa Bora Airways Lockheed L-1011 Tristar |

File Description:
This is one of the two's Hewa Bora Airways Tristar. Hewa Bora is the "national" company in Democratic Republic of Congo and goes each saturday from Brussel to Kinshasa with Tristars. This one is the -250 (9Q-CHA), previously Delta Airlines. But for the moment HBA uses the -500 version (9Q-CHC) because the -CHA aircraft had an engine-incident during a flight to Brussel and was seriously damaged during the landing phase. He is economicaly unrepairable... A sad end for this beautiful bird.. (Based on the Charles Dayhuff model). It's my first repaint so be indulgent ;-)

An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by the Ancient Brit. The 54th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Kulusuk (BGKK) runway 11, Greenland and arrive 1 hour 49 minutes later at Iqaluit (CYFB) runway 35, Northwest Territory, Canada. The climb to cruise is preceded by a low level (500 ft) departure that winds its way through the mountains of the Stromfjord. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

So much to see and do here. Impossible do it all in a day even with a plane. Spend as many days as you like in Orlando at Walt Disney World and the surrounding attractions. Then head for the coast to catch a shuttle launch and tour the Kennedy Space Center. Head north along the coast stopping in Ormand Beach for a classic car show and catch Bike Week or the Daytona 500 in where else? Daytona Beach! You can't park your plane there, but you can park your rental car on the beach while you go for a swim.
