| American Airlines "PSA" Airbus A319 |

File Description:
Pacific Southwest Airlines was a pioneer developing affordable air service in California and throughout the west coast. Based in San Diego, it was known for its bright colors, humorous staff, and the signature smile painted on the nose. The airline was eventually purchased by US Air in 1988.
To honor the airline's heritage, US Airways dedicated an A319 N742PS featuring the PSA livery in 2006, and it was retitled to American in 2014. This is one of several retro jets representing past airlines that form today's American Airlines. Textures only for the great Project Airbus model; the base pack is available here on AVSIM: pa319_basepack_fs9_2014-09-08.zip. Enjoy!

| American Airlines "America West" Airbus A319 |

America West was one of several airlines that make up present day American Airlines. When merged with US Airways in 2006, to hold onto its Phoenix roots, one aircraft (N838AW) kept it's America West livery. (It was the final A319 originally delivered with that scheme.) The aircraft was repainted with American Airlines titles with the merger in 2014. This is one of several Retro jets representing former carriers that make up present day American Airlines. | American Airlines "Allegheny" Airbus A319 |

File Description:
Allegheny Airlines was one of several airlines that make up present day American Airlines. Based in Pittsburgh, Allegheny (which also included Lake Central and Mohawk Airlines) changed its name to USAir in 1979 to gain a more national presence following deregulation. Piedmont and PSA were later integrated in the late 80s, and the name was changed to US Airways in 1997. During the America West merger in 2006, one aircraft (N745VJ) was painted in the 1970s Allegheny livery. The titles were changed to "American" with the merger in 2014. This is one of several Retro jets representing former carriers that make up present day American Airlines.
