File Description:
FS2002 Navy EC-121K "Willy Victor" VW-1 "Malfunction Junction" is a repaint of Mike Stone's fantastic Super Connie (textures only), and a memorial tribute to my dad - flight engineer ADRC (Ret) Dick Wooton (3/31 - 1/94), who flew this beautiful bird and many others for over 12,000 hours with AEWBARRONPAC at Barbers Point, Hawaii; VW-1 Agana, Guam;and again at NAS PMR Pt. Mugu, Ca., and as well to all the other "gooney birds" that listened to them drone from Midway to Danang. He would have loved this. Asia Pacific 1962 Scenery Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This scenery package contains the major airports for the Pacific Islands, China, and the Asian portion of the Pacific Rim as they were circa 1962, based upon material and photographs Mike has gathered. Major airports have been detailed with custom GMAX objects, and many other smaller airports/strips have been backdated by providing parking spots, correcting runway lengths, and removing the irritating strobes, taxi lines, and other features that did not normally exist during the 1950s and early 1960s. Cities/countries/islands covered include Fiji, Polynesia, Guam, Midway, Taipei, Korea, Philippines, New Guinea, China, and North Korea, among many others. Much of the rest of Asia has been already been covered by the Indochina 1962 scenery package, and is required for this package as well.

Pan American Sea Port Midway Island Download

File Description:
FS2004 Pan American World Airways Clipper Port Sand Island Midway. Scenery by the The Fox's Hangar. On November 22, 1935, Pan Am began mail service across the Pacific, when the China Clipper took off with much fanfare from San Francisco Bay and flew to Hawaii, then on to Manila in the Philippines by way of Midway, Wake, and Guam. In October 1936, Pan American finally inaugurated its first passenger flights across the Pacific by carrying nine travelers across the largest ocean in the world. Each passenger paid more than $1,400 for the round-trip from San Francisco to Manila, an astronomical sum at that time. The Pan American World Airways Clipper Port Sand Island Midway is my recreation of the Clipper port at Sand Island Midway Atoll.

B29 Superfortress Download

File Description:
The Boeing B-29 was designed in 1940 as an eventual replacement for the B-17 and B-24. The first one built made its maiden flight on September 21, 1942. In December 1943 it was decided not to use the B-29 in the European Theater, thereby permitting the airplane to be sent to the Pacific area where its great range made it particularly suited for the long over-water flight required to attack the Japanese homeland from bases in China. During the last two months of 1944, B-29s began operating against Japan from the islands of Saipan, Guam and Tinian. With the advent of the conflict in Korea in June 1950, the B-29 was once again thrust into battle. For the next several years it was effectively used for attacking targets in North Korea. The B-29, named Enola Gay is the airplane from which the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima in August, 1945. SPECIFICATIONS Span: 141 ft. 3 in. Length: 99 ft. 0 in. Height: 27 ft. 9 in. Weight: 133,500 lbs. max . Continental Micronesia 1998 AI Package Download

File Description:
Continental Mircronesia was Continental's Guam-based Pacific operation. In 1998, CMI had 3 747-200s and 16 727s (10 pax+ 6 flying DHL cargo), and was also using 4 Continental 757s to cover routes from GUM. The 747s mostly fly between NRT/GUM/HNL and spend their down time at the HNL maintenance base, but they also flew charters to OKJ and SDJ which are represented in these plans. The 727s fly all over the Pacific, serving most every large city in Japan as well as TPE, CNS, and the 7-stop GUM-HNL "milk run", flown twice weekly. The cargo plans for the 727s are representitive and also serve much the the Pacific reaching as far as Australia. I created arrival and departure banks most days so the planes often arrive back to GUM in the middle of the night around the same time. The "Micronesia" titles were removed from the last DC-10-30 in March 1998, after which time all DC-10s wore the standard Continental livery as did the 757-200s while using the CMI codes and callsigns. Currently, there is no Continental Micronesia DC-10 AI paint, but links to all relevant paints are included as well as Ranmori Scythe's FAIB 747-200 PW texture. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. FSX/P3D ANA - All Nippon Airways 747SR-81 1980 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the 747SR-81 (Short Range) in ANA - All Nippon Airways classic 1980 "Mohican" colors. The freeware 747-200 by Project Open Sky - POSKY is needed for this repaint. All Nippon Airways Company, Ltd. (ANA) was formed on March 1, 1958 through the merger of two small companies. The Japanese government granted the carrier full certification to operate over domestic trunk routes on April 1, 1959, and by the mid 60s it was Japan's biggest domestic airline with a comprehensive network. During this time through to the 1970s, ANA expanded its fleet size greatly. ANA ordered its first jetliner, the 727-181, in 1964 and by 1978 they had a vast fleet of jetliners at their disposal, including the queen of the skies, the 747. ANA operated its first international flight, a charter flight, on July 15 and 31 1970, with YS-11s to Pusan, South Korea. However, a fully scheduled international flight was still in the distant future. In 1978 ANA held the position as the world’s sixth largest airline. Not bad for a domestic carrier. The carrier’s longest domestic route, the 2,051-km Sendai–Okinawa segment was opened in 1980. Interestingly, First-Class service was introduced on Japanese domestic flights as late as July 1985. In December 1985, the Japanese government opened international operations to all of the country’s airlines by revising its air transport policy and deregulating the industry. This included domestic carriers. ANA's desire for international routes became a reality and joined the fray It flew its first fully international scheduled route with a four times a week service to Guam, on March 3 1986. Today it has a vast network of international flights, and they are easily Japan's biggest carrier with 233 aircraft. They were also the launch customer of the 787. ANA has been going from strength to strength ever since its inception. For them, the sky's the limit. It might work on FS2004 as well. Textures are 32bit bmp.
