File Description:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 1). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was the Soviet/Russian first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23S, MiG-23M, and MiG-23MS; with 14 models and 58 repaints. Original aircraft model, afterburner effects, flight dynamics, and textures by Michael Pearson. File Description:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-27 Flogger. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-27, with just under 1,100 built, was a follow-on production variant of the MiG-23BN ground-attack version. The Flogger-D (and later -J), nicknamed the "Crocodile" for its flattened nose, was and still is a dedicated close air support and short-range strike/interdiction aircraft, comparable to the SEPECAT Jaguar. The MIG-27 has served in multiple conflicts in Europe and Asia. The MiG-27 entered service in 1975, was eventually operated by 4 countries, and is still in service in 3 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-27 Flogger-D and MiG-27M Flogger-J in an all-classic AI package; with 16 models and 72 repaints; current aircraft will be addressed in future releases. | A.V.I.A. L.3 (Part 1) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This open cockpit version was also adopted for 'lead in' training, by the Croatian Air Force, and eventually the Luftwaffe, and by the A.N.R. for assault glider pilot training. Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2. Full details are in the supplied contextual history.
This release (Part 1) provides two open cockpit MDLs, with different landing gear, many relevant liveries, a combined contextual history of both the open and closed cabin versions, and an illustrated Student Training Manual to allow realistic simulation of the wartime Axis 'lead in' training syllabus. The Part 2 of this release will later feature the enclosed cabin version.
VC only. It also works subject to some limitations within in FSX. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics by FSAviator. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, January 2015.

| Douglas DC-7 for AI Traffic |

Images related to this file:
File Description:
Douglas DC-7 for AI Traffic. The DC-7 propliner was designed for long-range commercial transport, being one of the first aircraft to utilize the polar routes from Europe to North America. Although the DC-7 was a very advanced aircraft for its time of production, it was produced at the cusp of the commercial jetliner age and was quickly eclipsed by a new generation of air travel. Subsequently the DC-7 was not as commercially successful as its predecessors, and only a handful remain in the cargo and aerial firefighting roles. In conjunction with Jake Burrus, I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this classic transport aircraft to the flightsim world. This package includes 14 models, 40 repaints, and a Photoshop paint kit. The paints in this package focus on DC-7 use from the 1970s to present day, with a few vintage paints thrown in. Aircraft model and master textures by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, flight dynamics and repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
Repaint for the FSHELI.CH Aerospatiale helicopter for Microsoft FS2004. This package contains the additional textures for the SA315B Lama HB-XTM operated by BOHAG, Switzerland, for the FSHELI SA315B Lama V3.0 (required, payware, EUR 15.00, USD 19.50) The original package contains one animated model created in Abacus FSDS Pro 2, one set of reflective textures, 2D and 3D panel and custom made gauges and a custom sound system with realistic start-up and shut-down.The panel also uses some default gauges (not included). The equipment of the Lama is very accurate and gives a realistic feeling inside and outside the cabin. It contains also accurate flight dynamics (in the limitations of the FS2004), tested with real world pilots. Works also in FS2002.This helicopter feautures:Passenger flights;Sling cargo:net, cow rescue, pylon, concrete, cross bars, aggregate; Fire fighting with a bamby bucket, Winch operations.
