TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-4 Dragons - Patrol Squadron Four (VP-4) is a U.S. Navy land-based patrol squadron based at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oahu, Hawaii, which is tasked to undertake maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare (ASW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. All P-3 Orion Squadrons are due to have the P-3 Orions replaced by 2019 with the the P-8A Poseidons. Budget cuts not withstanding.
