File Description:
These Liveries were originally created by Nathan Havercroft for the payware Alphasim C-17a FSX version. Each DDS file has been resized to 1024x1024, vertically flipped to be correctly oriented for FS9, and saved as an extended BMP in DXT3 format. These files are for use in Flight Simulator 2004 v9.0 or v9.1, and all credits go to Nathan Havercroft for the repaints and to Alphasim for the paintkit and original textures. Included are all the C-17 textures Nathan has created as of July 5, 2010, but does not include the March "Plain" collection that Nathan did, which has all of the "plain" C-17's based at March.. this may be converted and uploaded in the future as time permits. The payware Alphasim C-17 Globemaster III is required to use these textures.

Here's another one for you guys. Im uploading these soundsets like rapid fire. The PW2000 is a medium range power plant that powers the 757-200, 757-300, and that awesome hunk of metal known as the C-17 Globemaster III. Technically this would be V2 of the PW2000 but I dont like to give my sets versions. Every time I go to revamp a soundset I basically tear it apart and rebuild it from scratch. I have a feeling you all will enjoy this set. ALOT. All files are recorded off of 757 aircraft in 22.050kHz Stereo for optimal quality. Files have also been compressed to Microsoft APCDM format to reduce size. Recommended for use with 757s from Project Opensky, IFDG, Captain Sim, and the FSD C-17. Please Enjoy

FS2004 Scenery - Dover Air Force Base or Dover AFB (IATA: DOV, ICAO: KDOV, FAA LID: DOV) is a United States Air Force base located two miles southeast of the city of Dover, Delaware. Dover AFB is home to the 436th Airlift Wing (436 AW) of the Air Mobility Command (AMC), known as the "Eagle Wing", and the AMC-gained 512th Airlift Wing (512 AW) of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), referred to as the "Liberty Wing". It was the only base to solely operate the massive C-5 Galaxy, with two active flying squadrons (the 3rd Airlift Squadron, which now operates the C-17 Globemaster III, and 9th Airlift Squadron) and two Air Force Reserve flying squadrons (the 326th Airlift Squadron and the 709th Airlift Squadron). This AI-Package contains several beautiful airplanes: Boeing: B-52H, C-17 Globemaster,
E-3A NATO and F-18E Super-Hornet, British Aerospace: Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon and
Hawk MkT1, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transall, Lockheed: C-5A Galaxy, C-130 Hercules
and F-117 Stealth, and last not least Lockheed-Martin: F-16C Falcon. These aircraft
perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Biggs-Field per attached
flight plan in order to get prepared for the upcoming Biggs-Field Airshow.
All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers
(see briefing). My part was just to prepare them in order to work in an artificial
intelligent (AI) environment as good as possible.
The excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" from Kevin Burns, available here at the
Avsim library, is required to enjoy this package!

This is an updated version of this scenery to correct texturing errors. My thanks to the the good folks on the MAIW forums for catching and correcting this error. Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area and known as the "Gateway to the Pacific", Travis Air Force Base handles more cargo and passenger traffic through its airport than any other military air terminal in the United States. Originally laid out as a SAC base for long range bombers, the original hangar line and facilities for B-36 and B-52 aircraft have been largely rebuilt over the years to accommodate the current cargo operations of the 60th Air Mobility Wing (host at Travis). The 60th supports and deploys both the C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster as well as its own refueling squadrons of KC-10 Tankers. In addition, the base's former SAC alert facility now supports 2 transient Navy E-6B Mercury TACAMO aircraft detached from Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
