P-51D 1965 Transcontinental Trophy Dash

File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

Here is an improved version of the stock Shaw AFB. I added many Military_Combat and Military_Cargo parking spaces. I added the fire station and fire trucks. I removed and replaced some default buildings, moved the control tower and added additional buildings. Added static fuel trucks, fuel storage tanks, parking lots with cars and light poles. Added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons.

FSX KBOI Gowen Field Airport Bug Fix 01

KBOI bug fix 01 You may have noticed that you can't summon the fuel truck in my scenery KBOI.ZIP. I left out a start point for the fuel truck. You also may have noticed that if you have the Realism Settings selected for "Detect crashes and damage" your plane will probably crash if you start at many of the KBOI gates.
