KLM (1957), Vickers Viscount 803 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
KLM was the non-British airline to order the Vickers Viscount 800 series. They were delivered in 1957 and were named after aviation pioneers. KLM's nine Viscounts, which were the airline's first turboprop equipped aircraft, were mainly used on the European network. With the introduction of the short- to medium haul Douglas DC-9 jetliners in 1966 the days of the Viscount with KLM were numbered. The whole fleet was sold to the Irish Viscount operator Aer Lingus. This repaint represents Viscount PH-VID 'Otto Lilienthal' in the livery of the 1957-1960 period. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Vickers Viscount package (viscount_10.zip) for FS2004. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Trek Airways Douglas DC-4-1009 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Trek Airways Operated two Douglas DC-4 Skymasters and they were acquired from the American airline Northwest Orient in December 1957. The two DC-4's were unusual in that they were never military C-54's and had been manufactured as civil airliners after the end of World War Two. The aircraft began service in April 1958. The European routes were operated with night stops at Entebbe and Cairo. ZS-CIG was destroyed by fire after a belly landing near Assiout, Egypt, on September 9, 1960. There were no injuries to the passengers or crew. Textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 model, repainted by Dave McQueen (DC4_V30.ZIP). This repaint by Andre Reimers.

Sepecat Jaguar redux Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Native FSX conversion of the freeware FS2002/FS2004 Alphasim/Virtavia Jaguar for FSX Acceleration/P3D. The good old FS2002/FS2004 Alphasim Jaguar will always be special to me, it was one of the 1st payware addons I bought. Although the model shows it age and is quite basic for todays standards I think it still looks nice and is good fun if you just want to hop in and fly. I hope this will be a fitting tribute to the glory days of FS2004 when developers like Alphasim created such a rich variety of military aircraft types, many of those have never been (re)done for FSX.
