Harvard: Target tug 7166 for FSX (ZU-AOZ)

File Description:
TEXTURES ONLY, for the outstanding ALPHASIM Texan/Harvard T-6. A repaint of a target tug (registration 7166) for the South African Airforce. This plane is now registered privately: ZU-AOZ. Repaint by Eberhard Haberkorn. © AlphaSim 2007. The North American T-6 Texan was an excellent design that served as a basic transitional combat trainer in all branches of U.S. service as well as in countries worldwide. Approximately 17,000 of the type were built and some 350 are still airworthy. Some 30 remain in South Africa and the heritage lives on with the Harvard Club of South Africa which maintains ten Harvards. The aircraft serial numbers are 7024, 7028 (AOS), 7059, 7152 (AOP), 7156 , 7166 (AOZ), 7306, 7592, 7643 (AOX), 7661.

Laviolette bridge, Trois-Rivières, Québec Canada for FSX

File Description:
The Laviolette bridge (in French, pont Laviolette) connecting the city of Trois-Rivières and Bécancour on the South shore of the Saint Lawrence River (Highway 55) is an important land mark for pilots flying between Montreal (CYUL) and Quebec City (CYQB). It is a beautiful and aesthetic arch bridge of 2.7km long with a main span of 335m and a total height of 106,6m A lot of attention to details was required to reproduce the bridge complex structure. This scenery features a very accurate bridge with 4 lanes traffic, night textures, road lighting and static ships. Pilots are invited the take off from nearby CYRQ airport at the control of their favourite helicopter or slow aircraft to fly around the bridge to inspect the structure and appreciate the view.

FSX A321 Workaround for Shockwave 3d – Redux lights

File Description:
FSX A321 landing or taxi lights only in shockwave Redux. Workaround for Shockwave 3d – Redux lights in the default A320. (an easter egg!) When you install the Shockwave 3d lights (both the plain version and the Redux version) you will end up with a plane that can not land with it’s lights on without having it’s gear down. Luckily, there is a taxi light switch on the overhead panel that works. Therefore by removing the “lights out when gear up command” by the shockwave gauge, lights won’t go out when gear is up any more. Now you’ll have to switch the gear lights (not the landing lights!) off by clicking the taxi lights switch on the overhead, and the taxi (gear) lights actually go out, while the landing lights stay on (and vice versa, and you also can have both on or off at the same time)

North American F-86E/F Sabre FSX "Upgrade"

File Description:
A collection of various fixes for SectionF8's F-86E/F Sabre for operations in FSX. Modified glass textures for FSX SP2 compatibility; disabled exhaust and smoke effects to improve rendering performance; new, FSX-style texture management (based on texture.cfgs and .dds textures); fixed radios in the VC and more, like automated conversion of the Sabre's textures into .dds format. This update does NOT CONTAIN A NEW, NATIVE FSX MODEL, it's basically still a portover from FS9! A separate, full FSX model of the Sabre will released by SectionF8 once it's done!
