Afcad of LIPZ (Venice Tessera "Marco Polo") airport for FS9 default scenery.
In order to make the scenery as close as possible to the real airport the layout is based on the newest Jeppesen parking chart of LIPZ, on the Aeronautical Information Publication Italy and on photos of the real airport.
The previous version was v1.4; instead of naming this version v1.5, I named it v2.0 because the entire airport had been redesigned from the begining in order to achieve a new level of realism. When I decided to redesign the entire airport, the idea that I had in mind was to make it more like a full scenery as real as it gets using FS stock buildings and objects than only a plain afcad.
Main features that have been added since v1.4 (released on April 19th, 2007):
- since October 2009 a new tower is operative on LIPZ to better manage the ground traffic on the apron, I added it trying to make the environment look as close as possible to the real one;
- more than 95% of the buildings of the real world airport have their place in the scenery using FS stock buildings;
- static objects and vehicles have been added;
- pole lights and antenas have been added;
- parking gates and ramps have been adjusted;
- airline parking codes have been updated.

This package contains an updated re-release of all my original Piaggio P-166 models developed for FS-2002/2004. All versions are included in a single package: P-166A, P-166BL-2, P-166CL-2, P-166M, P-166S, P-166DL-3 and P-166DP-1. The 3D models are the same, so these are fairly simple models. Yet they come with a VC (no 2D panel this time!). With respect to the original releases, they come with very much improved panels, in two flavors: Piston and Turboprop. Gauges developed by Milton Shupe & Scott Thomas for the Aero Commander / Turbo Commander Aircraft series, and Edgar Guinart López of Aeroproyecto for the Embraer 110. Other Gauges from my own Piaggio P-180 & PD-808. Also Included is a brand-new flight model redeveloped from scratch. Please refer to the Reference and Checklist pages provided via the FS Kneeboard for flying and operating instructions.
The Piaggio P-166 is a light small twin. An Exotic twin-engine prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light amphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tail planes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft was still in production in the early 21st century in an improved turboprop version, the P-166DP-1.

Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26124 C4-Z "Dry Run", the assignjed aircraft of Lt Zell Smith, of the 388th FS/365th FG. Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Lt. Smith was one of the original pilots of the 365th. He had a very dry sense of humor, which was sometimes mistaken for a serious demeanor, but other pilots liked to fly with him because he exuded confidence. During the october 21, 1944 'turkey shoot', he was credited with shooting down a 109, a 190 and damaging a second 190. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz P-38L, representing P-38J-15-LO 42-104111, which for a while was the assigned aircraft of Lt George Baird of the 49th FS, 14th FG, 15th AF, based in Italy during 1944. The aircraft was named Elaine Marie after his wife, while Butch was his nickname for his son, George. This particular aircraft was destroyed during a landing inbcident at Triolo on the 29th september 1944, while Lt Baird was hit by flak and crashed in Hungary on the 26th of November 1944, flying another P-38. He is buried at the Ardennes war cemetery in Belgium. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.

File Description:
FStarToFS2K provides the possibility to convert Jeppesen FliteStar/FliteMap(R) 8.x/9.x Version Flight Plans to Microsoft Flight Simulator(R) 2000/2002/2004/FSX or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D(R) Flight Plans, thereafter called MS FS or LM P3D Flight plans. Meanwhile Flight plans for Ted Wright's NAV3.x, Alessandro Antonini's Super Flight Planner, Radar Contact, SquawkBox and Alain Captain's ACS-GPS can be produced as well.
It provides an intuitive interface and an extensive help system.
Remarks: This Update contains some minor changes to the program and the help file. In order to use this Update you must have at least FStarToFSK V1.1.2 installed, best is FStarToFSK V1.1.3 preinstalled!

Each flightplan has been tested using many resources, and our goal is to make a realistic representation of each airline's route network. Please visit our forum at www.alpha-india.net/forums to read more and sometimes also updates for the plans released.
If you are using P3Dv4, all flightplans appearing here can also be installed by One-Click-Installer (OCI) provided in AIG's AI Manager (AIM). See our forum for download links and support. This flightplan is written in 2 week cycle format and therefore only usable in FSX or P3D.

A repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B, in the colors of 'Vit David', 26001 of the Swedish Air Force. The Swedish Air Force had two P-51B's , one was 26002 / 43-6461, which they probably never used except for spares, and this one: 26001 / 43-6365, formerly 'Z-Hub' GQ-J of the 355th FS. It made an emergency landing in Rinkeby, Sweden on 13 may 1944, flown in by Lt Posey who had run out of fuel, and was duly interned. It was later bought from the US and remained in Swedish service until 19 november 1952, flying with F16 squadron, where it was used as a 'hack' aircraft. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

Adjusted scenery for FSX
Uploaded to AVSIM only.
1 rearranged gates and parking spots (as seen on pictures)
(Small disadvantage is that FS places a Pushback car at the end, may be changed in an other version)
2 birds SW and NW of the runway and high flying Eagles in the mountains left and right of the airport.
3 an NDB transmitter where the NDB is south of the runway.
4 rearranged buildings at the airport and some privat planes on the parkings
5 An MD83 on the apron.
6 small (if any) impact on frame rates.
Overall: a more lively LFLB, Aix Les Bains in the French Alps

File Description:
Released as an open championship gift to flight-simmers who golf (whether on a real course, or in Links 2003), this file contains textures for the Jet City Aircraft payware, which you must have, to make them function. There are FS2002 and FS2004 versions of this payware, and the FS2004 version is known to work in FSX, with a proper FSX panel. The fictive tail number has been placed unobtrusively, and shows a sense of humor. LinksAir is another concept of mine fusing FS with a popular PC golf sim that is still going strong, 9 years after it first appeared. Plans call for operating a virtual European mini-tour, this September (details in the READ ME).
