File Description:
This is repaint of Korean National Airlines Douglas DC-4 of late 1950s.
This colour scheme was used by Korean National Airlines (former National Airline of Korea and Mother company of Korean Air). KNA's DC-4 was first used in International flights to Japan and Hong Kong via Taiwan (Also flew direct routes to Hong Kong from Seoul) from Mid 1950s. After KNA acquired L-749 from Lockheed and most of the International flights were operated by L-749, the DC-4 were used for short haul International flights to Japan and used mainly in High capacity Domestic Routes. The Aircraft, HL-106 operated first trans-pacific flight for KNA to San Francisco. You'll need Jens B. Kristensens's Douglas DC-4 V2 to use this repaint

This is repaint of Republic of Korea Airforce Hawker-Siddley HS.748. South Korean Government have acquired two HS748s to replace the old C-54 VIP transport(VC-54) in 1974. After 737 VIP transport was acquired in 1983, HS748 still remains as reserved aircraft and VIP transport for polititians. These HS748s are known as the most well preserved and active HS748. This is repaint of Korean Air Lines Douglas DC-3/C-47 in 60s colours for MAAM SIM Douglas DC-3. Korean Air Lines flew DC-3s in Domestic Operations during 1960s. Some of DC-3s were used by Korean National Airlines during the 50s and some were leased from Japan. HL2005 was one that was leased. Aircraft has Japanese registration number below the Horizontal stabilizer. The Original file was lost during Files loss of AVSIM in 2009 and some part of repaint was reworked. You'll need MAAM-sim DC-3 to use this repaint.
