File Description:
Flight Simulator X version of the Bristol Fighter Mk.1 or 'Biff' as it was called by its crews in WW1. This file is part 1 of a 4 part download and contains visual models and textures depicting 3 aircraft with the earlier short form exhausts. No other downloads are required to make this functional. The other 3 downloads are optional variants. This aircraft was modeled using 3DS Max 8.0 and compiled using FSX SDK tools and will only work in FSX or higher. It is NOT compatible with FS2004. The aircraft makes full use of FSX materials and also features skinned animated crew members in the external model. It also features a detailed virtual cockpit. All instruments, levers and selectors are modeled in the 3D model. It does not use the FSX gauge system and there is NO 2D cockpit.

File Description:
The Bristol Fighter F.2B known as the 'Biff' in WW1 and 'Brisfit' post WW1, was one of the more successful two seat designs in WW1. Designed in 1916 and introduced to squadron service in 1917, the Bristol F.2B continued in production after WW1, the final batch being produced in 1926. The F2B remained in RAF service until 1932 and longer with other air forces.

The Aircraft is depicted in the colours of the South African Airforce. No 2023 is depicted as aircraft No 1 of the Silver Falcons Aerobatic team. The Astras are used by the SAAF as its primary trainer. This is a full package that includes sound and a photorealistic panel with xml gauges. Features include full moving parts, opening canopy, reflective textures, VC and accurate flight performance based on pilot input. All working parts can be activated from the cockpit. | de Havilland Vampire T. Mk.55 |

File Description:
The De Havilland Vampire was the aircraft that brought the South African Air Force into the Jet age. It came into service in South Africa in 1950, replacing the Spitfire and served as front-line fighters until 1956, when the Sabre replaced them. They were then used as trainers until 1972 when the Impala (AERMACCHI MB326) finally replaced them. This aircraft (Nr. 277) is still flying, operated by the South African Air Force Museum in Pretoria. It has full animation, including an opening canopy, a dynamic virtual cockpit, full lighting effects and a checklist.
