Flight Simulator First Officer (FSFO) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Flight Simulator First Officer is a generic virtual copilot that can be used with any aircraft. The primary function of FSFO is to assist the Pilot In Command (PIC) to fly the aircraft safely while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is accomplished via virtual checklist and sharing of cockpit duties/responsibilities. Specifically, the First Officer reads the following configurable checklist: Before Start, After Start, Before Takeoff, In-Range, After Landing and Shutdown. After reading the checklist items, the Copilot will wait to ensure you (i.e. the pilot) have configured the aircraft correctly before proceeding to the next item. Also, the Virtual copilot is capable of performing the following actions: Call Vspeeds based on your input, Raise the Landing Gear on Takeoff, Retract the Flaps, Manage the taxi/landing lights, Land the Aircraft, Tune the ILS frequencies, Call Climb Power based on your input, Reset Vertical Speed when the Aircraft is within 1000 ft of the programmed altitude, IAS warning (e.g. Aircraft is above 250 IAS while below 10000 ft), GS Warnings (e.g. Aircraft is above 25 knots while taxing), Resets the altimeter to standards when passing TA, Engage Heading Hold on Takeoff, Engage Altitude Hold on Takeoff, Reset Speed on Takeoff, Engage Speed Hold on Takeoff, Engages Rev Thrust on Landing, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) and much more... visit us at http://www.flightsimfirstofficer.com/

AI Aircraft SID and STAR Controller - Version 1.4B <b>for FSX, FSX Steam and P3D</b> Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The AIController utility automatically vectors FSX, FSX-Steam or Prepar3D Artificial Intelligence (AI) aircraft through predefined Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs), jet routes, Standard Instrument Arrivals (STARs) (or alternatively generic traffic patterns), and/or final approaches. AIController automatically selects the most appropriate SID, jet route or STAR for each AI aircraft. AIController also lands arriving AI using published, custom or automatic final approach procedures, then provides taxi service to parking. The user can customize the procedures to fine tune AI arrival and departure patterns at each airport, such as specifying landing runways on-the-fly.

AIController optionally enforces spacing minimums between arriving AI aircraft by commanding speed changes and/or commanding the AI to hold at waypoints, thus reducing go-arounds. AIController can also enforce spacing minimums between the AI aircraft and the user's aircraft.

A stand-alone, windows based AI traffic monitoring program (AIMonitor.exe) is also included to provide the user with a graphical front-end. A converter (SIDSTARConverter) is included to automatically convert SID and STAR files from standard, aircraft format to the format used by AIController.

AIController requires an installed FSX or P3D SimConnect and can be run on a networked computer. The latest, registered version of FSUIPC ver. 4.9x (or later version) is also required.

Deepawali, also known as Diwali is one of the Major Festival celebrated in India from Jammu Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) that's marked by four days of celebration, which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, and dazzles all with its joy. From darkness unto light the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds, that which brings us closer to divinity. During Diwali, lights illuminate every corner of India and the scent of incense sticks hangs in the air, mingled with the sounds of fire-crackers, Fireworks, joy, togetherness. On third day of the festival from evening to midnight the entire sky of India is full of colorful fireworks. Its the most awesome night of the year to witness. Every single family in India celebrates Diwali with lights, fire-crackers and fire works.

Lets celebrate Diwali in the virtual world of Flight Simulator. Fly in or out of any airport in India and enjoy your departure or approach phase with great show of fireworks all over the country. FedEx McDonnell Douglas MD-11F (N604FE) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Boeing MD-11F aircraft, N604FE, named "Hollis" is based out of Memphis, TN and can fly both Domestic and International Routes. The MD-11F (53 built) are the Freight transport aircraft version and were the second variant on offer at launch in 1986, and was the last and longest (1988-2000) manufactured version. 22 MD-11F's were delivered between 1991 and 2001 to FedEx. According to Flight Aware, she flies mainly domestic routes daily. The aircraft is almost identical to the DC-10F, although BOEING modernized their model with a longer fuselage and more powerful engines, giving her a longer range and higher service ceiling. Most flights are at full payload, and those disclude the center long-range fuel tanks, and involve flights ranging between 2,000 and 4,500 nm. I've been dealing with several versions of this aircraft for many years, actually since the first offered on CompuServe for FS98 in the '90s, and through time have found many aerodynamic details that were required in order to make her fly realistically. The Internet slowly added the details I needed, and then came the testing. Needless to say, I've flown many versions, including this one, for way too many hours, and added and corrected things along the way. This version is the best I've ever done, and I've worked on her for about a year before this upload. Everything is aerodynamically correct, and the engines (and their placement) are beyond anything ever presented by anyone with anything like this previously. I even fixed the gear to be 100% authentic in placement and use. I tried to fix the lights, but the textures are from FS2004, so I did the best I could. I chose this aircraft because it is actually in service today, and because the painter did a great job in making her look authentic. She now flies in FSX just as she does in reality, but you are better advised to study this on your own, rather than take my word. Aircraft ratings by manufacturers are based on simple standards, and very conservative. FSX is a virtual “WIND TUNNEL” when realistic aerodynamics are employed, so we can see what aircraft are capable of if we do it all right. Sorry to say, no one ever builds a free aircraft for upload with the correct engine/aerodynamics employed. In fact, I don't think anyone, other than myself, has ever put that much effort into it. So, keep this in mind. What you have now is real. It is Free. Now learn from it. READ THE MD11Readme.txt document before any operation after unzipping this. Tri-Engine Sound by B.G. Hany; Textures by Bradley McCoy; Panel by Marco Spada; Real World Engine/Aerodynamics by Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected], June 2018. This aircraft is designed for educational use protected under the Fair Use Doctrine: (http://www.expertlaw.com/library/intellectual_property/fair_use.html) ... It cannot be sold or bundled for sale, and such will never be approved by me or the original authors. FREEWARE DISTRIBUTION ONLY!!!

RNAS Henstridge (HMS Dipper) Download

File Description:
Royal Naval Air Station Henstridge or RNAS Henstridge (HMS Dipper) is a former Fleet Air Arm base located 7 miles (11 km) west of Shaftesbury, Dorset (Now Somerset) and 12.4 miles (20.0 km) east of Yeovil, Somerset in South West England.

The main part of the land (355 acres) was purchased in August 1941, after which building of the airfield and the marsh lane accommodation site commenced, it was commissioned on April 1, 1943 as HMS Dipper, principally as number 2 naval fighter school, on the 11th September 1942, another 18 acres was acquired at the adjoining gibbs marsh area for an aircraft repair and maintenance site. The design and lay-out of the airfield was quite unique, having 5 runways, 2 of these being east west lay-out (07-25) both 1000 yards long, the northern runway incorporated a dummy deck landing strip, complete with under-ground arresting gear with four above ground arrestor wires, which was a duplicate of that installed on HMS Implacable for training of aircraft carrier landings, these mainly being carried out with the Seafire, a naval version of the spitfire with folding wings. The site also had its own cinema and stage hall

March 1952 the airfield became inactive and was placed under care and maintenance, during 1953 Air whaling (now Bristow group) used the facilities for repairs to the whaling fleet of helicopters until moving out in June 1958.June 1957 it was finally closed as a naval establishment, from 1958-1960 the entire site was sold off. 27 June 1980 the BBC purchased the whole site and applied for planning permission to erect at the airfield a shortwave radio station consisting of 21 self-supporting towers holding aerial arrays and ancillary buildings on a 300-acre site. The station would transmit overseas radio services to Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union and perhaps South America the application failed and the BBC sold the land during January 1987 The airfield is also the home of the wessex strut, a general aviation club formed in January 1977, which holds an annual fly in and other events their first fly-in was on 17 April 1977 and attracted 107 aircraft. As of today the only usable runway is the north 07-25 runway, extant with the concrete dummy deck, and the underground machinery chamber, it is also the home to a large number of light aviation enthusiasts aircraft as well as the Yakolevs aerobatic display team and the Dorset and Somerset air ambulance

The current airfield is operated by EGHS and is an unlicensed airfield. The only usable runway is 07/25 tarmac/concrete 750 mts long x 6 mtr wide. Henstridge radio can be contacted on 130.250 MHz, it can be found at the south eastern stub of the Yeovilton MATZ

Norfolk International Airport (KORF) Download

File Description:
Again, another instance of an airport I don't really fly into much but I decided to and yet again the default MS afcad is for lack of a better word, "nasty". This is an accuarate an AFCAD for Norfolk as it's gonna get folks. I've managed to include all terminal gates with accurate numbering and airline assignments as per the Norfolk airport website. Cargo areas and general aviation parking are also provided. This should definetely improve your experience in and out of the Norfolk Int'l Airport. As a note to users so that you do not think it was an error on my part, MS in their infinite grace decided to put the terminal almost on top of each other leaving a tiny space in between with which to park, let alone taxi. You may notice that when AI pushback they may pushback onto the aircraft behind them at times, there is, unfortunately nothing I can do about this short of removing all those gates and then you'd lose 50% of the actual gates in the airport...If someone at a future date makes some good ORF scenery, I'll update the AFCAD accordingly. Having said that, this is 10 times better then what the default MS afcad provides. Note: Independance Air is now using gate B18. The current AFCAD does not have a designator for that airline. Any of you flying Independance or using them with AI they park at that gate.

USAAF 3X-W "That's all, Brother!" Douglas C-47 (292847) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A 42-92847 3X-W "That's All, Brother!"of the 438th TCG, based in Greenham Common, England. It was the aircraft that was the lead plane with the parachute droppings on the night of D-Day, dropping men of 502nd PIR of the 101st Airborne Division arond 00:48. It then returned to Greenham Common and later that day pulled a glider to Normandy to reinforce the 82nd Airborne Division. Later it evacuated wounded from France, took part in Operation Market Garden, flew supplies to Bastogne, took part in Operation Varsity, before returning to the US in 1945. It passed through the hands of several private owners, is rumoured to have flwon for the CIA, and was restored as an AC-47 gunship by the Aero heritage Museum in 2004.. In 2008 it went to Basler for conversion to a turboprop BT-67, when somebody recognised the significance of this aircraft. A kickstarter campaign secured the purchase by the Commemorative Air Force, who are planning to restore her to her D-Day configuration. More details on this, including D-Day footage, can be seen here: http://ww2live.com/en/content/world-war-2-forgotten-d-day-bird-s-all-brother-will-be-restored-and-itll-fly-thanks. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Palisades SRTM Altitude Mesh Download

File Description:
Ever wanted to fly down the VFR corridor over the Hudson River and gawk at all the skyscrapers in New York City? ... in your dreams! The Department of Fatherland Security has closed it down.

But, we still have Flight Simulator. Unfortunately, the altitude mesh for this area is somewhat lacking in detail.

This Palisades altitude mesh remedies that. Covers the Palisades cliffs, of course (but no Amusement Park, sniff), and also Riverside, Morningside, and Washington Heights, and Fort Tryon. In fact, all 5 Boroughs of New York City are covered, as well as most of central and northern New Jersey (visit beautiful downtown Hoboken!), and the larger part of Long Island. Also Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam counties and more. And even Bear Mountain State Park.

Approximate coverage: N40* to N42* and W73* to W75*.

Made from NASA Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data (3 arc-second resampled to LOD9 - horizontal resolution of 76.4 meters) using SRTM to BGL by Matthew Styles (available in the AvSim library.) Very easy to use - give it a try.

BONUS: includes simple instructions so that anyone can make altitude mesh for their area from SRTM data using SRTM to BGL by Matthew Styles. Sorry, SRTM data only available for the Americas at the moment. The rest of the world coming soon. Check inside for more details.

No support of any kind is offered for this package - very sorry.

Venus Atmosphere and Surface Enhancement 1.0 Download

File Description:
This addon gives Venus a facelift. As it stands in the current Venus in Orbiter, there is no actual clouds on the planet. In fact, the clouds are actually painted on the surface! If you ever wanted to fly a space probe to explore the surface of Venus, you would be dissapointed. It looks bland with no clouds (in fact, you get perpetual sunshine and clear, stary nights!) and landing on an orange surface with no features at all. This enhancement pack adds the actual cloud layers to the planet and also gives surface features and texture. So now, you get to see what it looks like from underneith the clouds, instead of just landing on them. The real planet is covered with a perpetual cloud cover of carbon dioxide, amonia, and sulfuric acid. Quit inhospitable to both human life and equiptment. This addon also gives a realistic starless nighttime. The amount of light that reaches the surface of Venus is shown to be that of Earth on a heavy overcast day. This addon looks pretty much like it would be if you were actually decending to the surface of Venus. These clouds in the addon are not just "static", they actually drift in about the same speed as on the real planet. If on the surface or looking out in space, accellerate your time to 10,000 or 100,000 and you will see the clouds move!

Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - Volume 4 Download

File Description:
FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - Volume 4. I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that they miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will get you out more! Whether you are simply a local pilot flying within your own well-worn neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous international aviator, there's something for everyone in these volumes. For the new simer I have included some very easy approaches, and for the army of case-hardened veterans who think they have seen and done it all - let me tell you now - you haven't! I'll introduce you to approaches that will leave you absolutely flabbergasted - and may I add, begging for more! Each volume contains (10) difficult and dangerous approaches which are set up for you – all you have to do is fly them! I have also included a special ~ (STAR) ~ approach in each volume - which is a gem of an approach that will thrill and amaze you. If you've always wanted to know where all the difficult and dangerous approaches could be found in MSFS 2004, but never new where to look, I've discovered them all - and now I'm sharing them with you. Check out Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - by Michael Doherty - you won't be disappointed.
