Lafayette Louisiana USA Regional Airport for FSX. Several improvements have been made to the default airport. The default terminal building has been replaced with a custom building created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded using Airport Design Editor 1.70.6042; a new airport vehicle network has been built to prevent airport vehicles from entering the taxiways; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; static FedEx and UPS scenery objects have been placed throughout the airport; all taxiway signs are correctly placed and all taxiway designators are correctly named; there is the option to open both runways to AI traffic; the ILS for Runway 4R has been added; optionally, a set of GA flight plans is included using all default FSX aircraft to liven up the GA area; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. Please read the README.txt file to insure proper installation of all files.

Des Moines Iowa International Airport for P3D. Originally created for FSX, this airport has been converted to work in P3D. Several improvements have been made to the default airport. The default terminal buildings have been replaced with buildings created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded using Airport Design Editor 1.76.6715; a new airport vehicle network has been built; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; all taxiway designators are correct and all taxiway signs are correctly placed and named; there is the option to open both runways to AI traffic; A large cargo area for FedEx and UPS is included, as well as an area for the 132nd Fighter Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. The default terminal buildings have been replaced with buildings created in FSDS; there are custom built hangars in the Embraer maintenance area, also created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded and named using Airport Design Editor 1.76.6582; a new airport vehicle network has been built; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; all taxiway designators are correct and all taxiway signs are correctly placed and named; there is the option to open all runways to AI traffic; the FedEx and UPS cargo areas are modeled, as well as the Embraer maintenance area; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. The default terminal buildings have been replaced with buildings created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded using Airport Design Editor 1.67.5684; a new airport vehicle network has been built; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; a static FedEX truck in two different color schemes has been placed in the cargo area; a missing taxiway has been added, and all taxiway designators are correctly placed and named; there is the option to open all three runways to AI traffic; the 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard is represented, and the parking spaces for the military AI aircraft there are coded to work with the MAIW GLANG1 flight plans; optionally, a set of GA flight plans made using AI flight Planner using all FSX default aircraft is included to liven up the GA area; another option included is to display moving road traffic outside the airport; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. | Fairbanks International PFAF Float Base in Alaska |

File Description:
This is the floatplane base which is part of Fairbanks International Airport, PFAF. It has a separate PAFX identifier here due to the limitations of AI in FS9. Though it doesn't come close to the activity level of Lake Hood in Anchorage Alaska it is still a fairly busy place. In Fairbanks there is this floatbase, Chena Marina to the southwest, Chena River to the northwest, and Metro Field to the east between Fairbanks and the river. You will need Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada, and you must first install the version of Fairbanks International PFAF by William Morgan, as this scenery was the starting point for the floatplane base scenery, and without it the result would be disappointing. There are scenery and land class files, files that modify PFAF, AFCAD for AI, and a traffic file.

This is the fifth release package of 29 EditVoicepack files for FS2004/FSX by the Alpha India Tower Group. This package includes all previously released files since Package Release 4. Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow. Chena Marina AK28 is a float plane "pond" close to and southwest of Fairbanks International Airport, with a gravel strip alongside the water; the "strip" is actually a gravel road that functions as a runway when required. Or maybe it's a runway that functions as a road? Though it doesn't come close to the activity level of Lake Hood in Anchorage Alaska it is still a fairly busy place, and in fact Fairbanks is a hub of summer floatplane activity with a water runway at the International Airport and another "pond" known as Metro Field that is between Fairbanks and the river, plus a base on the Chena River. In this download there is a scenery folder, land-class folders, an AFCAD folder, and a "Traffic" folder, and you will definitely need Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada.

ADE Home Edition (Freeware) was used to design these BGL files: This is an update of my previous version, my previous version not required, these 2 files are only for the FSX default airport: one with the Xwind rwy 11/29 activated where both rwy's will now be used for takeoff/landing and one as default: all taxiways now updated to the Nov 07 AIP NZ ground movement charts, all taxisigns changed to match the taxiways with missing taxisigns added, assigned parking with extra parking, and for the Canterbury Aero Club the grass rwy 2L/20R is now open and start locations added, support vehicle roads rebuilt, extra fuel trucks and several other improvements, airport views are from the roof of control tower (when in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic/WOAI but not required, please view the readme before installation
