This is a British Midland (BMI) circa 1995 repaint of the Fiftynorth / 50North Boeing 737-300, registered G-OBMD.
The most noticeable difference with the 1990 scheme is the addition of a red cheatline under the white strip.
Paintkit by Denis Minaev and Igor Borodin. Textures are 32bits format. Please take time to read the readme file included. Fiftynorth Boeing 737-300 basepack (payware) is REQUIRED.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 VH-EDM of Qantas Empire Airways. This aircraft was built new for Western Airlines and entered onto the United States Aircraft Register as NC10203 - April 1946
It was sold to Australian National Airways in 1947 and entered onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-ANG. The aircraft was named 'Palana' (star).
It was sold to British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines in 1948 and reregistered as VH-BPD and renamed 'Discovery'. It was sold to Qantas Empire Airways in 1949, reregistered VH-EBM and renamed 'Philippine Trader'. It operated the inaugural Sydney - Darwin - Labuan - Hong Kong service as EM202 in June 1949
It was chartered by T.E.A.L. to operate the Melbourne - Christchurch (Harwood) - Melbourne service - June 29, 1951.
The aircraft suffered major nose damage whilst landing at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on November 08, 1951, when the nose wheel collapsed during the landing roll, but it was repaired and returned to service.
It was sold to Zantop Air Transport Inc, Detroit, becoming N600Z in November 1959. It then went to Trans Mediterranean Airways of Lebanon in 1962 as OD-AEC. It crashed into the sea off Brindisi, Italy shortly after take-off on July 09, 1962, killing all six people on board. This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of VH-EAL of Qantas Empire Airways. Originally C-47A-20-DK c/n 13084 42-93199, it flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL (this paint), and later VH-EBH and VH-EBW. It went to Brain & Brown as VH-BAA (an earlier paint) in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Central Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."

| Qantas Empire Airways - Sydney to Hong Kong - 1949 |

File Description:
Desiring to expand air links with the Far East, Qantas Empire Airways (QEA) conducted a successful proving flight to Hong Kong in March 1949. Regular services commenced on the 26th of June 1949, utilising Douglas DC-4 aircraft that QANTAS had purchased from British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines (BCPA) when that airline took delivery of their new DC-6’s. Route was Sydney - Darwin - Labuan (Borneo) - Hong Kong. Please take time to read the included Word.doc file which provides additional information about the flight. This recreation uses Jens Kristensen’s DC-4 and Wayne Tudor’s QEA livery.
