Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) (IATA: BKI, ICAO: WBKK) serves the city of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia. It is located about 8 km southwest of the city center. It is the second busiest airport in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur International Airport passing 4 million passenger movements in 2006 for domestic and international flights. It is the main gateway into the state of Sabah and into Borneo.
Currently airport equip with 17 parking bays for terminal 1, and 7 parking bays for the terminal 2 LCCT.
When the overall project is completed, the airport will be able to accommodate the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft. The airport will also be the second largest airport in Malaysia with an annual capacity of 12 million passengers. 9 million from Terminal 1 and 3 million from Terminal 2.[10]

Project Airbus is proud to present the Airbus A320, version 2. Contains accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operetable control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modelled on spoilers and landing gear doors. This is Airbus A320 D-AKNX from Germanwings. Ex-Lufthansa-Bird. I really love Germanwings, fly as often as i can with them. They fly from my homebase EDDK (where i live) to many destinations in Europe. This bird D-AKNX flew me to Barcelona once. I tried to paint the aircraft as much realistic as possible, e.g. with correct window-layout, emergency exits, yellow horizontal stalilizers. Project Airbus created with the model version 2 the most beautiful A320 in the net. Thank you guys.

These flightplans are representative of the period between Sunday the 9th of January and Saturday the 15th of January, using two Airbus A320. Repaints are available for both the Project AI model as well as the FSPainter model.

Tianjin Airlines (formerly Grand China Express) has recently added a few Airbus A320s to its growing fleet, including a 'logojet' promoting the Yujiapu 'mega-project' in Tianjin. These are textures only, in both 32bits and dxt3 (mipped and non-mipped) formats. You need the DJC AI Airbus A320 base package (IAE model) available separately. Repaint by Philippe Tabatchnik.

FS2004 Project Open Sky (POSKY) Airbus A340-300 in the colours of Virgin Nigeria Airways. This is ex-VS G-VBUS. Has all the great features common to POSKY's A340s, and also includes updated FDEs giving a more realistic approach speed as well as better climb rates at real climb power. Delivered new to Spring Airlines in 2012 this airframe was originally in the classic green tail and titles livery but was repainted in this special "Bosideng" blue livery in December 2024 which it still wears as of December 2025. The livery is a promotional design as a partnership with popular Chinese clothing brand Bosideng. Original model for the Project Airbus A320 for FSX/P3D can be found at most of the major sharing sites, along with panels and sound packs to suit the Airbus.
