File Description:
Yananyi Dreaming was delivered to Qantas on the 16th January 2002, and is the second aircraft of the new generation series 737, to be added to the Qantas fleet. Yananyi Dreaming is inspired by the dramatic landscape surrounding Uluru and is the third Qantas aircraft to be painted with an Aboriginal design and is to be used in the Australian domestic market. Qantas operates this aircraft on domestic and Trans Tasman routes. This Aircraft is painted for Projectopensky’s 737-800 winglet model. This paint has been meticulously rendered in photoreal textures, to optimize and emphasize the realism of the paint and the model. In the early 1990s before the emergence of alliances British Airways bought a stake in US Air with the goal of improved connections and greater share of the internal US market. As a result of this three of US Air 767-200s were painted in British Airways livery, used the BA call sign "Speedbird" and had US Air crews trained to BA standards for three routes into LGW from BWI, CLT and PHL. Eventually the alliance collapsed and BA formed and alliance with American Airlines who are now ironically trying to merge with US Air's successor US Airways.

File Description: iFDG A319 iFDG is proud to present the Airbus A319. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wingviews, flaps, full lighting configuration, highly detailed, reflective textures, and dynamic shine. This example is painted in the current scheme of Lufthansa with an additional "Lu" sticker on the rear of the aircraft ("Verden", D-AILU). "Lu" is the Lufthansa kids' program. For children aboard a Lufthansa flight, it offers special meals as well as sketchbooks and colored pencils, new games, Lu Shoulder bags and glove puppets, matchbox cars, puzzles, card games, and souvenirs with Lu themes to collect, everything to ensure that a child aboard Lufthansa will not be bored.

The Gimli Glider is the nickname of an Air Canada aircraft that was involved in a notable aviation incident in July 1983. On 23 July, Air Canada Flight 143, a Boeing 767-233 jet, ran out of fuel at an altitude of 41,000 feet (12,500 m) ASL, about halfway through its flight from Montreal to Edmonton via Ottawa. The crew was able to glide the aircraft safely to an emergency landing at Gimli Industrial Park Airport, a former Royal Canadian Air Force base in Gimli, Manitoba. The plane survived and flew for Air Canada until its retirement in 2008

The Piaggio P-180 is a high-speed high-efficiency turboprop aircraft. Capable of speeds up to 395 KTAS (or M0.68) up to its service ceiling of 41000ft. This performance is achieved by extreme aerodynamic optimization instead of sheer power. The end result is an aircraft that burns 40% less fuel than the average jet of comparable size, while flying at the same speed range, or 30% less than an equivalent size turboprop, as it flies much faster. The pusher propellers on the wings mounted much backwards thanks to the forward wing set make it a comfortable and quiet ride for the passengers, that also enjoy a very spacious cabin for an aircraft of this size.
