Greenwood Lake Airport (4N1), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles E of West Milford, New Jersey on 150 acres of land, Greenwood Lake Airport is a public asphalt strip that services small to medium GA air traffic. The second runway that used to be there has been re-paved and now serves as extra aircraft parking. You can park anywhere on the closed runway, along the edge of the main tarmac where the terminal building is, or between any two white cones (50 foot max wingspan) that mark tie-down locations in the middle of the main tarmac. A helicopter start is provided as well. For parking, Small GA spaces are for craft with wingspans of less than 50 feet; Medium GA spaces are for craft with wingspans from 50-60 feet. The glide slope for Runway 24 has been adjusted up from 3.5 degrees to 4 degrees as in real life the runway sits higher than the ground the trees grow from so this will give you proper clearance on approach. Fuel is available by stopping near the tank on the main tarmac. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Robert J. Miller Air Park Airport (KMJX), NJ

File Description:
Located 05 miles SW of Toms River, New Jersey on 232 acres of land, R.J. Miller Air Park is a public asphalt strip 5949' in length. The airport buildings and immediate surrounding area have been included, magnetic variation adjusted, PAPI properly placed, taxiway lines drawn accurately, beacon properly placed, lit winsock and wind tee (both functional). The parking available has been matched to the current configuration of the airport, which is still undergoing renovation. Not included is the under-construction building just to the south of the terminal and the additional large hangar just north of the already-existing one. Taxiway lighting could not be seen in aerial photos - complete liberty on behalf of the author was taken when placing taxiway lights. Helipad is lit at night although the real world pad is not. Tiedown parking is available on the main tarmac in three sections: Southwest, Northeast, and regular Parking which is in the middle. RAMP_GA_SMALL parking spots are for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. RAMP_GA_MEDIUM parking spots are for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. RAMP_GA parking spots are occupied/blocked by static objects and should not be chosen as a start location (although collision detection with all such objects has been disabled). There are 4 open hangars - three to the Southwest are for RAMP_GA_SMALL aircraft while the Northeast one is for RAMP_GA_MEDIUM aircraft or smaller. All hangar parking spots are labeled DOCK_GA. A hangar on the main tarmac and a hangar on the tarmac to the south and west removed from the airport have attendants that can be called on NAV2 - this appears to be FS9 only. Both hangars have undecorated interiors and no parking spots to start from. There is only one helipad to start on but helicopters can also start in any RAMP_GA_MEDIUM location with no problem. Fuel for aircraft/helicopters is available by stopping next to the fuel pumps (not the fuel tank) at the north end of the main tarmac. The helipad will supply fuel when landed on. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 002. Salem Airfield Airport (NJ74), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles E of Salem, New Jersey on 14 acres of land, Salem Airfield is a private turf strip 2200' in length. The hard surface runway has been removed so have your mesh settings as high as possible to get the most out of landing/taking off on actual terrain. The surrounding area has been highly detailed with as much forestation as possible included to block out the horizon as much as possible considering the many open spaces surrounding the airport. Tie downs are located next to the middle of the runway, look for the marker cones or start in any RAMP_GA_SMALL parking locations. A hangar is available as well, and attendant is on call on NAV2 to open the door. You can start inside the hangar in the DOCK_GA parking spot or outside the hangar in the RAMP_GA parking spot. All parking is for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. There is no fuel available. The field is lit for night use, but the windsock is not so check your weather before flying in! Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. Ekdahl Airport (NJ59), NJ

File Description:
Located 04 miles S of Freehold, New Jersey, Ekdahl Airport is a private turf strip 1300' in length bordered closely by trees. This makes for an interesting landing as the 90' width of the runway is all the room you have to play with. However because it can be difficult to gauge your distance to trees and also because even the slightest brush with a tree can cause a crash, all trees immediately adjacent to the runway have crash disabled - mainly so you can turn your plane around if you land on Runway 02. The hard surface runway was removed so make sure your terrain mesh complexity is set as high as possible to get that bumpy ground realism. A windsock is listed as being available on this field but I could not locate it in any imagery and so placed it by default near the hangar building. You can start on the runways or parked in front of the hangar. Make sure your plane is capable of these take off and landing distances! Tree height around the field was not listed so I again used my best judgement from studying aerial photos. There is no fuel or parking for transient aircraft available. The field is not lit - daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. Peaslees Airstrip Airport (NJ25), New Jersey

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Clarksboro, New Jersey on 8 acres of land, Peaslees Airstrip is a private turf field 2207' in length. The hard surface runway has been removed to allow for landings on terrain, so have your terrain mesh set as high as possible. The surrounding area of rural farmland and houses has been filled in to provide an encompassing ground environment with as few breaks to the horizon as possible. There are no services at this airport - if you arrive there is room past the hangar to park and tie down although no tie downs are available in real life, thus you can only start from this airport on the runway. The windsock is located approximately midfield of the runway, as in real life. A second hangar has been constructed nearby the current one, but MSE textures do not reflect this and it was not included. This airport is not lit and daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. Warren Grove Range Airport (NJ24), New Jersey

File Description:
Located 03 miles SW of Burlington County, New Jersey, Warren Grove Range is a private concrete airfield 1800' in length. It is owned by the Department of Defense and exists in a restricted flight area. The bare sand of this area has washed out the satellite images tremendously from over-exposure thanks to reflected sunlight - you can't even make out the runway (which FSX places incorrectly over a mile away). Due to lack of ground definition and primary use as a military facility, this airport has not been developed by MSEAirports and the concrete runway has been removed. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 003.
