Vineland-Downstown Airport (28N), NJ

File Description:
Located 04 miles NE of Vineland, New Jersey on 45 acres of land, Vineland-Downstown Airport is a turf field that mainly services crop dusting operations for the surrounding farms. It also can serve firefighting aircraft - in fact the second runway (12/30) is specifically for that purpose along with agricultural use. This airport as modeled in FSX is kind of inbetween the current layout and the past layout. Based on various images both satellite and other, it seems 28N has undergone some serious expansion since the MSE textures were created. A large paved area to the west of the airport has been built and has parking aprons for up to around 25 aircraft. If you use an add-on traffic program you might want to think about reconfiguring it to assign more flights to this airport because it can certainly handle them now. You can fuel up in your plane by stopping near the fuel tank on the north end of the west tarmac or in your helicopter by landing on the concrete patch north of the runway. Layton's Airfield (28NJ), NJ

File Description:
Layton's Field perhaps no longer exists in actual aviation databases - it's not, for example, listed over at skyvector.com. But you can find it via a Google search. It is coded 28NJ within FSX, although the real 28NJ is a heliport at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. It is a single grass turf strip 1692 feet in length and 60 feet wide. There are no services or parking available - if you want to practice touch and go turf landings that's about the extent of the usefulness of this airport. Even if you never use it, this will at least prevent you from flying over the location and seeing a default 3000 foot grass strip (with threshold markings, no less) sticking oddly out amongst the rest of the scenery.

Kroelinger Airport (29N), NJ

File Description:
Located 03 miles N of Vineland, New Jersey on 51 acres of land, Kroelinger Airport services private homes that are located in the vicinity of the turf strip. No services are provided to transient aircraft. the field is unlit and unattended. Trees are summer ONLY.

Redwing Airport (2N6), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles S of Jobstown, New Jersey on 53 acres of land, Redwing Airport is a small dual turf strip that hosts both single engine craft and gliders. No services are provided to transient aircraft, you can park over near the hangars (no visible tie downs). The Runway 11/29 edge lights are adjustable low-high in real life but for the sim I've set them at medium. Trees are summer ONLY.

Eagles Nest Airport (31E), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles N of West Creek, New Jersey on 80 acres of land, Eagles Nest Airport is a small single strip that hosts several single engine aircraft. No services are provided to transient aircraft, tie down spots are available on the tarmac adjacent to Runway 14. AI paths have been added to this airport in case you would like to direct any GA AI there. Trees are summer ONLY. File Description:
This is a small turf strip 1500x70 feet located near the border of NJ and PA in the northwestern part of the state. It's not officially listed so I don't have any more data than that. No services of any kind are available. Trees are summer ONLY. If you fly VFR around the area, this will at least prevent you from seeing a random-looking grass strip over some trees and half a neighborhood. Runway headings are 11/29

KTEB Teterboro Airport, New Jersey - *Update* New Taxiways

File Description:
This is an update to 'teterboro_airport.zip' by Eric McCloud (found here on AVSIM). It adds new taxiways to bring the airport up to date with the most recently published airport diagrams. Also some slight taxiway sign tweakage, closed a taxiway that is no longer operational, some additional apron lighting and a few cosmetic hold-short lines - these were added as they appear on Google Maps satellite imagery but are not connected to the AI link system so they will not affect AI traffic flow.

Alexandria Airport (N85), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles W of Pittstown, New Jersey on 75 acres of land, Alexandria Airport handles small and medium GA craft as well as helicopters. The main parking area is at the southwest of the airport between the yellow lines - static aircraft are there to show you the parking arrangment. Collision with the three static aircraft in the parking area is disabled to make it easier to park next to them should you wish. AI will spawn in this area only. Craft with wingspans greater than 40 feet should not park here. There is additional space to park on the grass north of the airport and two open hangars are also available at the north tarmac. You can get fuel by stopping anywhere around the fuel tank on the east tarmac. Trees are summer ONLY. File Description:
Located 03 miles W of Elmer, New Jersey, Emmanuel Airport is a privately-owned turf airstrip. This scenery properly aligns the turf strip and adds surrounding trees and houses. You can park in the open hangar by the house on the west end of the airport. Trees are summer ONLY. Fla-Net Airport (0NJ5), NJ

File Description:
This another weird airport entry in the FSX database. The real 0NJ5 is the Meadowlands Sports Complex Heliport #2, and this just shows up as a random turf strip up near Netcong/Flanders in northern NJ. I could not find any specific information regarding the airport online, and while it does appear to once harbour the room and terrain for a grass strip, it's largely overgrown, even in the current MegaScenery Earth textures. So I've removed the strip entirely. There is still a start at the northwest end of where the strip used to be if you want to travel there, but that's it. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005.
