| Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensign Mk2 Base Pack (BOAC) |
|
File Description:
The Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensign was the last large British civil landplane before the war. This file features the re-engined second production series (Mk2) in a superb GMax redition with all the mod-cons. Fully compatible with both FS2002 and FS2004-ACOF. Along with the visual model comes the first post-war paint of BOAC, shown on G-ADST 'Elsinore' (c/n AW1158), circa 1945. Further paints will be published separately, so be on the lookout. Panel (by Dave Haskell and Jens Kristensen), sound (by Aaron Swindle), and accurate flight dynamics (by Jens Kristensen) are included.

| Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Radial Engine Sound Pack (for Douglas DC-6, Convair CV-240, CV-340, CV-440, Canadair CL-215, Curtiss C-46, etc.) |
|
File Description:
SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Radial Engine sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with ANY model in FSX, but moreso intended for Calclassic's R-2800 powered planes like the DC-6, Convairliners, Curtiss C-46, and also meant for the Canadair CL-215 water bomber. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Realistic start up sounds and vintage propliner environment sounds are included. Realistic interior ambience noises such as the touchdown, hydraulic flaps, gear sound, and more are featured in this sound pack. Please visit our website at: www.skyhighflightsim.webs.com for more info and sound packs!

| de Havilland Chipmunk |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Re-upload following Avsim hack. The Chipmunk first flew in 1946. There were numerous variations built in both Canada and Great Britain as a trainer aircraft to replace the Tiger Moth biplane. More than 500 Chipmunks remain airworthy throughout the world today. This aircraft has has been constructed using Gmax v1.2. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. The model has six LODs with the main model having just 2522 polygons (faces/triangles).I would like to especially thank Ray Blake who has kindly made all ten high quality textures for this package.
It is also quite fun to fly as a normal aircraft, but was originally designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic programme by Markus Brunner . The file for GA-Traffic can be found at Avsim: "ga-traffic_setup.zip".
The paintkit is being posted as a separate zip file.
Further information on the DHC Chipmunk can be found at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Havilland_Canada_Chipmunk
