| FSX/P3D TAI DC-4 (C-54) 1962 |

This is a repaint of the DC-4 in TAI (Transports Aeriens Intercontinentaux) colors. The freeware DC-4 (C-54) by Jens B Kristensen is needed for this repaint. The DC-4 was the first long haul aircraft that TAI deployed. With the purchase of the DC-4s, long-haul passenger and cargo routes were launched to many points of the French Empire, including Dakar, Saigon, Tananarive, and Casablanca. They operated nine of their own DC-4s mainly from 1947 to 1955, with two lasting till 1963 when all DC-4s were replaced by the DC-6Bs. The last two that lasted till 1963 were F-BELG, and F-BDRG, the latter of which is represented in this repaint. Textures are 32bit DDS. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

FS2004/FSX C-54B Millardair C-54B C/N 10464/195 as C-GQIA, mid 1980's Millardair flew the venerable C-54 from 1972 until 1990. They were reliable, sturdy, and didn't complain about the cold! Original aircraft by Jens B. Kristensen. Requires JBK DC-4 V2.1 Repaint by Dan McManus

The C-54GM North Star was the original, Merlin-engined version of
the Douglas DC-4 to be produced by Canadair for the RCAF.
They served from 1947 until the mid 1960's. Textures etc. only,

FSX and FS2004 Canadair C-5 North Star. Developed from the Merlin-engined C-4 North Star, the C-5 was really a short-fuselage DC-6. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas DC-4-1009 ZS-NUR/PH-DDS. This aircraft originally flew with South African Airways from 1946 till 1966, and a short interlude from 1968 till 1970, as ZS-AUA 'Tafelberg'. From 1966 till 1995 the DC-4 flew as a transport and later an electronics warfare aircraft with the South African Air Force, called 'Spook'. Its registration was 6901. In 1995 the aircraft was sold to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd as ZS-NUR. In 1995 the Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) purchased the ZS-NUR, christened 'Skymaster'. The DC-4 arrived at Amsterdam-Schiphol on 5 May 1996. In 1997 she was re-registered PH-DDS. Due to the extremely tight regulations in the Netherlands, the DC-4 returned to South Africa in 2002 as ZS-AUA on long-term lease, first to Springbok Flying Safaris, later on to Rovos Air where she is still current (2008). Pan American Grace Airways operated six DC-6 from 1948.
They served on the first-class 'El Inter-Americano'
connecting the USA with South America until supplanted by DC-7B's.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only.
