East Texas Soaring Society Picnic Shelter

File Description:
The East Texas Soaring Society airfield is the site of active participation on weekends so the members built a picnic shelter to be used by family members. The picnic shelter has no prototype, just an idea of how one should look.

File Description:
This large old hanger was built at the North Longview (NLGV) airfield to be used by East Texas Regionel Airfreight. Nothing special here just an old hanger that has seen lots of use in it's days.

Flying Air Mail Pick-Up

File Description:
This macro represents a site in the town in Western Pennsylvania where I lived as a youth. The town had air mail sevice by a Stinson Reliant dropping the incoming mail and then picking up the outgoing mail by snatching a mail bag attached to a loop of rope and suspended between two poles. The plane used an attachment that looked similar to the old arrestor hooks used for carrier landings. Quite thrilling to watch.

Royal Navy Aerospatiale Dauphin

File Description:
Aerospatiale AS365N2 Dauphin in the colors of UK Royal Navy ZJ164. Repaint for Antti Pankkonen's excellent Dauphin N2, AS365BH.zip. This aircaft is primarily used for air-taxi runs to oil rigs, as well as other odd jobs requiring a fast helicopter transport. ZJ164 is operated by Bond Helicopters on behalf of the RN. Some Alternate rotor textures are included, so please check the Readme! Repaint by David Chapman.
