File Description:
This was one of three model 523FJ built for British Midland. A change of policy made it surpluss so it was leased to Court Line for 18 months then sold to TransBrasil the same day it was returned to BMA. Painted in a blue version of TrasBrasil livery it served from November 1973 until it was leased to AVIATECA for one month before onward sale to Cayman Airways at the end of May 1978. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby

TDS Boeing 737-700 Air Berlin U.S.A. (N67AB). Late 80s livery. Originally registered as Air Berlin USA, the company was founded in 1978 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lelco, an American agricultural enterprise headquartered in Oregon, to operate charter flights on behalf of German tour operators from Berlin Tegel Airport, mostly to Mediterranean holiday resorts. TDS Boeing 737-700(WL) United Airlines Star Alliance (N13720). United is a founding member of the Star Alliance network. The airline has a rich history in aviation, tracing its roots to 1926 when a small Swallow biplane owned by Walter T. Varney carried airmail to Nevada from Pasco, Washington - a flight that marked the true beginning of commercial air transportation and the birth of United Airlines. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. I am very proud to present this very detailed and realistic repaint of the BAC 1-11 204AF model by David Maltby in the classic US Air livery from the early 80's. This was one of the original jets flown by US Air. It flew side by side in their fleet with the B727, DC9 and 737-200. This repaint is the result of a major overhaul of the paintkit for this aircraft, and is very detailed and realistic. The many new details and hand repainted items include; custom metal fuselage, custom windows, custom tail textures, hand painted wheels, and also much needed night lighting and night textures. The US Air logo is also hand painted. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. This repaint is dedicated to Lorne Jordan, a Canadian simmer who inspired this project and who helped Q/A this repaint so we didn't miss a detail. Thanks to the permission granted by of the gracious and talented David Maltby (creator of this aircraft model), this is a full installation package, complete with 2D panel, virtual cockpit and BAC 1-11 sounds.
