Rotating Beacon - a Tutorial. Here's how to easily add the default FS2004 Rotating Beacon to any airport or location. This is an UPDATE which includes several important clarifications. Unzip to a temporary location (with folder option checked) and follow the easy instructions. All required files are included. For FS2004 only. FSX Scenery - This is an update of the McMinnville Municipal Airport (KMMV) designed by David "Opa" Marshall and myself a little less then 4 years ago for FS9. This is the scenery that features the Evergreen Aviation Museum across the road from the airport where Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose is on display. This file will make it compatible with FSX. Scenery tested with FSX SP2 only. The original scenery is required (kmmv_v1.zip). By John B. Loney, Jr.

Godfrey Tier recently released a very nice set of terminal/hangar building models for use in scenery design (goff_airport_buildings1.zip). This is a compilation of those models into a standard EZ style library which can be used with the EZ or Instant Scenery Object Placer programs. The original file from Mr. Tier is not required. Please unzip to a temporary folder

The Cany-Barville Castle in the beautiful Durdent valley of France has recently been modeled by Frederic Picci. This is a simple afcad for this exquisite scenery which will allow the Castle location to appear in your Map view and in your GoTo Airport menu. An AFD has been added so you can tune your AFD radio to 255.00 as an aide to locating the Castle. Complete instructions are included. cany-barville.zip is required. An EZ Object Library of the Helicopter Landing Trainer (HLT) by David Sreet. The model is based upon a real training vessel which is stationed at Pensacola Florida. This ship can be placed in your scenery using the EZ or Instant Scenery Object Placing programs. My thanks to Mr. Street for granting permission to compile and upload this library. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. Note: The deck of this ship is not hardened so you cannot land a Helicopter on it. To harden the deck, please download - afc_hard.zip -. This is an Illustrated Tutorial which shows how to easily harden such surfaces using the Afcad program.
