Albany, New York Bridge Fix for default FS2004 scenery. |
![]() |
File Description:
Albany, New York Bridge Fix. While flying around the Albany, NY area the other day, I came across a bridge "mess" which you can see in Screenshot 1. It looks as if several bridges collapsed at the same location. This package provides two files; one which will exclude the "mess" and another one which provides a new, default bridge at that location. Note: The bridge problem is seen only in the default FS2004 scenery - if you are using Ultimate Terrain, you do not need this correction. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions. Compiled for your flying (and driving) enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Circle Line Ferry Cruising New York Harbor |

File Description:
New York Harbor cruise - passing by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge - featuring the marvelous model of the Circle Line Ferry, created by Ron Jeffers. This package includes a custom Afcad - using the invisible runway and taxiway technique - and a flightplan which has the Ferry cruising around the harbor every 1/2 hour. Each cruise lasts approximately 30 minutes. This enhancement has been designed for use with the default FS2004 scenery. It has not been tested with Ultimate Terrain but may work in that environment if the Afcad is adjusted. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. Afcad - Some Tips and Tricks |

File Description:
Afcad Tips and Tricks - an Illustrated Tutorial. Although Lee Swordy's indispensible program includes very complete documentation, this tutorial illustrates several of the less obvious things you can do with the program. Topics include creating a quick flatten, decorating the edges of a runway, use of the polygon feature to enhance terrain adjacent to an airport, drawing "roads", creating invisible taxiways, moving or removing the Helicopter "H" and use of the "jump here" command. Even if you are an experienced user of Afcad, you will likely find some useful ideas in this tutorial. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Dallas, Texas - Helijet Shuttle Service - Scenery plus an AI Helicopter |
![]() |
File Description:
Dallas, Texas - Helijet Shuttle service. This scenery adds the fictitious Helijet Shuttle service which
shuttles passengers from smaller local airports to Dallas-Ft. Worth International (KDFW) and back again.
The fine Sikorsky S-76C AI Helicopter by Chris 'Elvis' Jones (not included) will be seen departing and
arriving at Addison (KADS), Redbird (KRDB), Love (KDAL) and KDFW. At each location there is a small service area created with the EZ Scenery Object Placer program. All necessary files - other than the AI
Helicopter - are included. This scenery is presented not only as an interesting addition to the Dallas
area airports, but also as a “case study” to help you add the same type of service in other suitable
locations. By studying the Afcads I have created, you will quickly see how it is possible to include AI Helicopters in your sceneries using the "invisible” airport technique. Please unzip this package (using folders option) to a temporary folder and carefully follow the simple installation instructions.

File Description:
AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here. Flattens for use at PANC Anchorage, Alaska Airport - for FS2004 only.
While flying into PANC recently, I noticed the water was encroaching on the land near Runways 14 and 6 in a most unrealistic manner. This package provides two flattens which will eliminate that problem. Tested with the default scenery and with the Frame Rate Friendly Studio version of PANC. It has not been tested with any terrain enhancement such as Ultimate Terrain. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very simple installation instructions. Airport ID Gauge - UPDATE |
![]() |
File Description:
At the request of several users, I have edited the xml script for the Airport ID gauge to make the displayed text more easily read. Instead of a Green ICAO code and Red airport name and city, the text is now all Green. Also the icon has been changed to black and white so it blends with the other default icons. This is just a replacement cab file so no further editing to what you may have already installed is necessary however a previous installation of Airport_ID.zip is required. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very simple installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
