File Description:
These files are for the FS9 default. The "AF2_EBOS_DF.BGL" file is based on the Microsoft Virtual Earth aerial photography (via "Flash Earth"). It is an extensive modification of a file by Jean-Philippe Delwiche (merci Monsieur!). The "EBOS_twy_signs.BGL" file corrects the taxiway sign positions and content, and the exclude files prevent any default scenery from obstructing the airfield. Because I like the interesting variation and "East meets West" feel of the Oostende traffic, I like to pass through once in a while. Therefore, it is important to me that the layout is at least proportionally genuine, and a better reflection of reality than the default.
My thanks to Jean-Philippe Delwiche (aka JeePee) for his kind permission for my use of his work.
Also, thanks to Jan Martin for his guide to taxiway sign editing, which I hope I have used to good effect.
This release complements my Air Charter Express and MK Airlines flightplans well.

FS2004/FSX C-54B Millardair C-54B C/N 10464/195 as C-GQIA, mid 1980's Millardair flew the venerable C-54 from 1972 until 1990. They were reliable, sturdy, and didn't complain about the cold! Original aircraft by Jens B. Kristensen. Requires JBK DC-4 V2.1 Repaint by Dan McManus

N6327G, in the "Hockey Stick" livery, was used on the Eastern Shuttle routes between Boston MA, LaGuardia NY, Newark NJ, and Washington DC from 1961-1968. FS2004/FSX Olympic Airways DC-6B Mainliner SX-DAD (c/n 45539/1010). The DC-6B was generally considered to possess the best operating economics of any piston airliner built. Passengers also appreciated their smooth, quiet ride. Olympic Airways operated 13 DC-6 aircraft from 1958-1967. This is the fourth DC-6B SX-DAD, named Isle of Rhodes. | Lockheed L-1049 Prototype |

File Description:
The original XC-69 Prototype "The Beast" was purchased from Howard Hughes for $100,000 in 1950. Lengthened by 18ft 7 Inches, it became the prototype L-1049. Dressed up in special duds, the first flight occurred on 13 October 1950, and the rest is history. With a slightly different paint scheme, this aircraft was used by Lockheed as a test bed for future models, including the PO-2W / WV2. FS2004/FSX Lockheed WV-2/PO2W Prototype. This is the origional L-1049 Prototype used by Lockheed as a test bed for the PO-2W / WV2. Both the initial (no tiptanks) and the later test variants, (with tip tanks) are included.
