Added SID TUS6, which was missing, and updated all STARs and IAPs to match cycle 0605 charts. Additionally, all transitions shown on the RNAV approaches were added the the procedures. I created a DINGO transiton for ILS 11L & LOC BC 29R to connect the DINGO STAR to those approaches using the instructions provided by the STAR. PMDG SIDSTARS Update for KMDW Chicago Midway Intl |
![]() |
File Description:
Cycle 0603 PMDG SIDSTAR file by Terry Yingling revised 3/27/2006 by Dan Downs for KMDW Chicago-Midway Intl. All SID, STAR and ILS procedures edited as required to comply with current charts. Added I55 Visual Approach Rwy 13C to supplement poor default scenery in area with approach fixes; however, a right 90-deg turn to a short 2.2nm final adds a touch of difficulty. Missing DPs CISRO2 & MDW4 added with all enroute transitions. Minor updates to STARS and ILS approaches done to ensure compliance with current charts. All procedures originally distributed in Cycle 0603, including those not modified, are included in this file.

YCDN Corunna Downs Station and Old Corunna Downs RAAF (Closed) |
![]() |
File Description:
Corunna Downs heritage listed RAAF Base was a secret airfield located in scrub and spinifex country, about 16 kms south west of Marble Bar, the hottest part of the "The Pilbara" area of Western Australia. Not a very ideal place to have a tent city. Today there are very few reminders of the once busy airfield. One can see some crumbling foundations and half filled post holes. 73 OBU operated the Corunna Downs airfield which comprised two intersecting bitumen runways, now regressed and graded occasionally. One ran approximately north-south, 5,000 feet in length while the other ran approximately east-west, 7,000 feet in length. Both runways were approximately 150 feet wide. A 50 foot wide taxiway linked the northern end of the north-south runway to the western end of the east-west runway. Approximately 20 camouflaged revetments to disperse aircraft to minimise bomb damage were constructed at Corunna Downs. Permission is required for landing and there may be vegetation on the strip if not graded recently. No cones or windsock so be careful. Corunna Downs Homestead is also heritage listed and consists of graded strips and homestead complex. Start points are at the homestead and the RAAF base is to the west. SIDSTARS Long Island/Mac Arthur (KISP) |
![]() |
File Description:
Procedures for current cycle (0804 10Apr-08May) based on FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and Published Terminal Procedures. The 68th addition to my procedures collection, includes custom routing for both STARS to either ILS approach as well as arrival routing from SARDI, which is used by all jet arrivals from the South or Southeast. I also include two departure routes based on actual traffic (to COATE or BEADS) for use in lieu of the vectors-only DP. Although this will work in the 747X, most jet traffic here is SWA 737's. For PMDG only.

YAHD Ashburton Downs Station, Western Australia |
![]() |
File Description:
YAHD Ashburton Downs Station is a remote cattle station in Western Australia and includes dirt strips at two locations and the homestead complex. The dirt strip to the east of the homestead is the original but it may still be used in the wet as this area is regularly subject to inundation. This is where mining magnate Lang Hancock grew up.
