File Description:
Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser this is a repaint of the MAAM-Sim DC-3 Passenger in the colours of Royal Dutch Airlines - KLM (1950's-60's). There is a brief history of this aircraft in the Read me file.txt. This is a texture only file that requires the Base DC-3 package available from; Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-Sim) Thanks to them for supplying the base pack.

| MAAM-SIM DC-3 |

File Description:
These are 24-bit templates on which to base repaints of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. They cannot be used with the default FS2004 DC-3. This is not a 'paint kit' as such, as the original MAAM-SIM DC-3 bitmaps are partly photoreal. Rather, these are semi-finished templates on which to base further work. This initial package comprises bare metal and white top liveries for the base Passenger and Cargo DC-3 models in different variations, together with revised alpha channel templates. Simple instructions are included. These base textures reflect commonly found "background" configurations for many liveries, and will save repainters time by not having to get rid of the default colour schemes found in the original package before starting work. Please note that further templates will be issued to complement any future versions of the MAAM-SIM model. The intention is that those templates can be added to this base 'paintkit' folder, the methodology and basic instructions being similar for all paints. Where changes to the model invoke changes in texture mapping or other differences, this will be noted with each new package provided. | Strathair Douglas DC-3 |

File Description:
Strathair was formed in 1962 based at Strathallen Castle, Scotland. In May 1966 a DC-3 G-APPO was acquired with the intention of operating scheduled services. It was based at Edinburgh but did little flying apart from crew training and an ocasional charter flight. By October of that year it had moved on to new owners. In April 1967, another DC-3 G-AOGZ was purchased and this was considerably more active than the previous one. It was kept busy on passenger and feight charter flights and also operated scheduled services on behalf of British United out of Blackpool. 1967 saw the aircraft move to Aberdeen where it was used on oil-rig support flights on behalf of B.E.A. to Sumburgh and Teesside. The DC-3 continued operating this kind of work until March 1969 when it was sold. This repaint is of G-AOGZ. Requires default Douglas DC-3.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Riddle Airlines DC-6A (CB17). The freeware CalClassic DC-6A by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Riddle was not a big operator of the DC-6. In fact only 3 DC-6s were listed in their fleet from 1956 to 1957. This repaint is of N7780B. Textures are 32bitBMP. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FS2004, P3Dv1-3, & FSX.

Austrian Airlines Douglas DC-3(C-47A-20-DK) OE-LBC, C/N 13073, model C-47A-20-DK produced at Oklahoma City production Plant, USAAF reg.42-93189, ex TWA N88823,ex Florida Airlines N86U.
Austrian Airlines started domestic services with DC-3 in may 1963; the airline operated with two C-47A and two DC-3D in the 60's.

West Coast Airlines was a regional airline based in Seattle Washington, and started operations in 1946 with DC-3s. The DC-3 was the workhorse of the airline from its introduction in 1946, until the 1968 merger into Air West. You need the Douglas C-47/DC-3 by Manfred Jahn for this repaint. This aircraft was tested on P3D v3 & FSX-SE.
