File Description:
Two Qantas 747 SP-38 repaints for the Project Open Sky 747 v4 series. These repaints depict the historical status of one airframe, Rolls Royce powered VH-EAA "City of Gold Coast-Tweed".
The liveries include the paint scheme adopted in the 1980's, and the final livery from the 1990's.
The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group.
The graphics for the 1980's livery were furnished by my friend and colleague from HJG, Mark Cranston.
I've included models and the necessary text files to incorporate these repaints into your collection.

File Description:
Textures only Aer Lingus 'St. Kieran' repaint of 'EI-BED' - for the CLS 747. You will need the CLS 747 200/300 payware package for these textures to work, and ive arranged them in the folders for use with the CLS livery manager, that comes with the product. Ive tested the installation and it seems to work ok. This repaint represents EI-BED - 'St. Kieran' - one of Aer Lingus 747's in probably the best known of all the Aer Lingus liverys - with a 'proper' shamrock and a light green, blue, dark green, white and grey fuselage...! This aircraft had a long history starting in 1970 with Lufthansa, until scrapped somtime in 1996. I used the excellent CLS repaint kit, and photos found online for reference.

Brand new repaint of a used/dirty looking KLM 747-400 by B-W Designs. To be used with the Payware 747-400 by PMDG, check ZIP for license details. This repaint includes: Very realistic, mostly photoreal textures with attention to detail in mind, Everything as accurate as possible (Reg: PF-BFV, City of Vancouver) with the new Sky team logo, Realistic looking Dirt and deterioration/used effects, Includes only the needed textures, check readme for installation procedures, NO MODEL INCLUDED. This aircraft is payware and is sold by PMDG. If you wish to use this repaint you will have to have purchased a legal license to use the PMDG 747-400. NOTE: ALL the Inaccuracy and Missing things seen in the screenshots have been fixed.

| Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 - Intercontinental delivery scheme (May 2nd 2012) |

This repaint is based on D-ABYA, the first commercial airline 747-8i aircraft handed over to Lufthansa on April 25th and arrived in Frankfurt on May 2nd.
This package is based on photos of D-ABYA at Frankfurt Airport on May 2nd wearing the latest real-world livery and is modeled accurately with updated fuselage textures and specular reflections, updated engine textures and correct window placements as per the real aircraft.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

This repaint is based on D-ABYA, the first commercial airline 747-8i aircraft handed over to Lufthansa on April 25th and arrived in Frankfurt on May 2nd and subsequently named Brandenburg. It began flight operations on June 1st to IAD as LH418.
This package is based on real photos of D-ABYA at Frankfurt Airport on May 23rd wearing the latest livery and is modeled accurately with fixed specular reflections and sharpened fuselage textures.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.
