File Description:
This is the standard fs9 Cessna 172 with a custom panel to enhance learning the principles of Flight and Navigation. Large gauges are on the panel plus digital readouts for most of the gauges so that there will be no guessing of the readings. The view over the panel is 50% larger than the default Cessna 172. Not on the panel are most of the non-flying gauges such as fuel gauges, engine instruments, engine controls, etc. The intent was to keep the panel uncluttered. Thanks to Norman Hancock and Dave Bitzer for the non-standard gauge designs, and to Tom Goodrick for the great auto-start/auto-stop flight timer and to Kyle Copeland for the fine panel Bitmap. Another repaint as a thank you to the guy's at VOZ for their great scenery ( and curse them at the same time , because it's going to take me a long time to explore it all ) !! More Aussie registrations to follow , there are some interesting colour scheme's on airliners.net !! Depicted is VH-ITY . Not much information on this aircraft apart from a statement from the photographer on Airliners.net . Quote : " This Cessna won the Concourse de Elegance for the best Cessna 172 ( N ) at the 2005 Avalon Air Show ." end Quote . Repaint works in FS 9 and FS X , full instructions included .

File Description:
N259ER was the aircraft thayt I did most of my flying lessons on and It is the aircraft that I passed my checkride in, so why wouldnt it deserve a virtual counterpart? This aircraft is 90% photoreal, painted from memory and multiple photos. The only item that is not exactly like the real thing is the Font on the registration becasue i couldnt find a matching one. Once I do, I will upload an update.
You MUST own the Flight1 172 to enjoy this repaint.

This is a repaint/mod of the default Cessna 172. Features: 1)improved reflextions 2)fully repainted int/ext.3)GPS/flightmap/kneeboard/radio stack Icons in VC 4)HSI instrument in 2d and 3d view 5)slight yaw "deadening". 7)IMPORTANT! If you have already solved the FS9 issue of overly sensitive taxi steering then this is the correct download(uses default steering). If not you should download c172sp2IDv01. 8) New registration number painted in yellow. The textures are best viewed with mip mapping set to 4 and gobal set to massive, otherwise textures may seem blurred. Finally you should read the read me file, I suggest a great sound package download for the 172.
