File Description:

Puzzle - The cockpit of VH-XBA, the first Boeing 707 bought by QANTAS.

File Description:
The cockpit (flight-deck) of QANTAS's Boeing 707 VH-XBA (nee VH-EBA), in all its 1960's glory (plus a few more modern nav-aids, of course!) The photograph was taken by Australian Historical Aviation Society member and my good friend Robert Deahm in February 2006, at the Qantas Jet Base, after the aircraft arrived in Sydney from Britain. (Bob was invited to tour the aircraft, the lucky so-and-so!) No installation is required - the puzzle runs directly from the file. Readme is included with simple and straight-forward instructions. There're six-hundred pieces to put together....I hope you enjoy it.

Puzzle - refuelling a Constellation at Shannon airport. A painting from the 1950's book, "The Wonder Book of Aircraft".

File Description:
In the 1950's there were several British books published under the title of "The Wonder Boook of......" For any boy interested in aircraft the title of the book ended with "Aircraft". Whilst most of the images were B&W, there were several colour-plates included, usually artist's renditions. This evocative painting depicts a night-refuelling scene at Shannon airport. No installation is required; the puzzle runs straight from the file. Readme is included for the simple instructions.

Puzzle - 1950's, a typical scene at London airport with a Constellation and PAA Boeing 337 Stratocruiser.

File Description:
This superb hand-painted scene comes from the 1950's "The Wonder Book of Aircraft" and depicts a typical day at London airport in the propellor-airliner era. In the foreground, a Lockheed Constellation is being serviced as, in the background, a Pan American Airways Boeing 337 Stratocruiser is refueled. Puzzle - the Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk, as carried by US Naval Airship U.S.S. Macon

File Description:
The Curtiss Sparrowhawk was developed to be carried aboard, and defend, the United States Navy's airships of the 1930's. In this instance the subject aircraft has been restored in the colours of one of the USS Macon's F9C-2's. The photograph is taken from a "Wings" magazine of the 1970's. A 400-piece puzzle created with Jigsaw Puzzle 2 by Tibo Software. No installation necessary; the puzzle runs straight from the file. Readme with the simple instructions is included.
